I am selling my 89 Camaro, starting a business and needing something better on gas but however sports. I would look at trades for European cars (Jag, Porsche, BMW etc) or other Lux veh. The Camaro is in excellent condition with a complete mechanical rebuild in 2002. The car has roughly 10,000 miles since new Transmission (700R4) Motor 350 Ci. (New block and internals) Rebuilt GM 10 Bolt with Eaton posi. Please note that the front bumper does not match that well. I have not had time to fix it with the new business up and running and working my daily job.


Mods and New

ENGINE: New GM Performance parts L98 Short Block with Hydro. Pistons and Cast Crank. New GM Vortec heads machined by Scoggin Dickies for 550 lift cams. GM PP LT4 Hot Cam 525/525 lift 218/228 Duration with new roller lifters and Crane gold roller rockers. Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake with a NEW B. G. Mighty Demon Carb.

TRANSMISSION: Rebuilt 700R4 with a light shift kit. B&M 2500 converter has use red line fluid since rebuild. New B&M Cooler also. Corvette Servo and B&M Ratchet shifter made for the car.

REAREND: Rebuilt 28 spline stock axels with an Eaton Posi and Richmond Gear 3:73 ratio. Tubular lower control arms, Tubular panhard rod, lower control arm relocation brackets. Also used Redline since new.

SUSPENSION: Complete polygraphite bushings front and rear. New front suspension and intrax lowering springs ( 1 1/2 inch)

Wheels and Tires are less then 10,000 miles I used Spohn spacers with 4th Gen Trans Am chrome wheels. New Carpet and leather seats show some wear, they were removed from a 1997 Camaro SS. New headliner. Optima Battery I know I have left a lot out so feel free to ask any questions. I am asking $7000 or best offer OR Better gas mileage sports car trade.


The car has never been to the drag strip but computer software estimates 12.9 quarter mile.
