Ok guys, I don't really want to sell this but, I want to get a house and need some money to do so.
I've had this car since 2001, it was a 305tpi/5speed car orignally and have done alot to it. It has about (had 73k when I got it)100k miles roughly, swapped to a different speedo and don't know for sure anymore.
Its never been driven in the snow and has zero rust. I swapped in an 87 turbo buick motor(stock except for alky injection and new valve springs) and 200r4 trans(built by vince janus(2,000$)) a couple years ago, it also has a 94 z28 4th gen 3.23 rear. Also has 88-90 iroc wheels. I have pictures at the following webpage
The car also has a B&M shifter, boost/fuel pressure pillar guages, 94 firebird grey seats, new black carpet and headliner, hotchiks LCA's, weld in sub fram connectors, 3inch borla exhaust.
Now for the bad. The rear quarter got nudged at 10mph and pushed it down a little a year ago, you can see it in the picture. I never fixed it as I intended to fix it and paint hte whole car but never did. The paint is in really good condition except for the clearcoat problems in a couple areas(roof and hood) as you can see in the pictures.
I'm hoping for 6,000$ for the car as it is. But I would also be willing to take the motor/trans/wheels+tires off and sell it as a roller(with your own wheels anyways) for 1,100$.
I'm located in Northwestern Ohio near Lima.
Drop me an email at leirch@hotmail.com, I'll try ot check this thread as often as possible but email is the easiest way to get ahold of me.

I can't believe nobody is interested. This car is really really cool. I love that color too Hell I'd be on my way down to look at it if I didn't just buy my '69 3 weeks ago... How well does it move? Is it a complete swap? Like engine/trans and harness/computer? Perhaps you'd have better luck selling it elsewhere. Anyway bump for a sweet car.
The car runs and moves great, its a real blast to drive. I hate to get rid of it, but looks like I'll probly have to hold onto it and just keep the motor+trans and sell as a roller.
I have an orignal TTA trans crossmember in the car and solid HR parts n stuff motor mounts. Car runs smooth and zero vibration.
I know the motor+trans is probly a little unknown on these boards and thats fine. I'd be willing to sell it as a roller, and I'd rather do that if I can't get the 6k. Somebody make me an offer.
I'll take the motor(everything with it, wiring, motor mounts)+trans(cooler, crossmember, driveshaft)+exhaust and gauges+pillar and stereo+speakers(mp3 player and kicker stuff) out of it. I'll probly find another car in a few years after settled in the new house...
I'll sell it with the wheels and everything else(rear, lca's,sub frames, etc..) for 1100. I welcome anybody to come check it out, I'll take you for a ride before I tear it down.
There is zero rust on the car, its never seen winter as long as I've had it, and if it did see winter before that, I don't know how it would be possible with the condition its in.
do you have reciept for drive train? engine management, stock computer and harness still intact and you added the turbo harness or how did you hook it up?
I have the reciept from when I first bought it, the engine has stronger valve springs, new stock cam and the intake is port matched along with the throttle body, turbo is stock.
Motor was said to have 70k miles on it when I got it, valve seals leak a little at startup, I was going to change them before I put the motor in, but the heads had the orignal gaskets and I didn't want to break the good seal.
Has a stock computer, I did the wiring myself. I took the 87 camaro harness bulkhead connector and the buick harness, spliced them together. I've been driving it for the past 3 years during the summer, haven't had any wiring problems.
im wayyyyyyy too far to just come at "check it out" lol. your a good deal further away than i had hoped time wise.. but that won't discourage me to much if its as nice as i hope.. we'll see.
i found another IROC-Z for sale around my area just a few hours ago too so i gotta see how that works out.
Ahh , here are a few pictures, you can see the doors are super clean, I dind't notice it before but there is a small peice of surface rust starting on the front corner of the door.
