89 IROC-Z l98, T56, TTops, +extras, make offer (PA)

I am selling my 89' IROC-Z camaro, I babied this car from the day i got it, along with original owner, oil changes with synthetic every 3k and all other services. dialy driver, garage kept, ttops, everything power(d/seat, windows, mirrors, locks), tinted all around, eclipse head unit with new poineer front speakers, 1000 watt sony explode amp to two 10 inch jbl subs. 5.7 tpi, full t56 6speed swap with less than 70k on it, spohn t56 crossmember, brand new clutch with less than 2k, Posi Rear, 3.45 gears. Full exhaust, headers, high flow cat, flowmaster cat back exhaust, Rear shocks new kyb gr2's and i have the front to go along, never got around to putting them on, also kyb gr2, k/n filters. I don't want to sell it but it has to go becuase i have too many cars and only get to drive it a couple of times a month. The body and block have alittle over 180k on them, I did not beat on this car and almost never took it above 3500, never raced, the compression is good. Rebuilt heads 40k ago, the alternator, radiator, waterpump all have less than 30-40k on them, brand new distributor, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, all injectors sent away to be cleaned and tested, two injectors replaced, new egr vavle, intake and runners all taken off and cleaned/checked thoroughly when replacing the egr. Tires are 255/60ZR16 bf goodrich gforce sports with less than 2k on them, rims are not bent, in good shape for age. 4 wheel disc brakes, all new with less than 5k on all around, new front wheel bearings plus many suspension parts replaced over the past year, I am a mechanic an did all the work myself, runs and drives perfect and i have no problem keepin it if don't get a reasonable offer.

Stuff that is wrong is the body has some surface rust around wheel wells, undercariage has no rust, couple minor dents/paint chipped on passanger side due to original owner glancing gaurd rail, not major body damage, ttops have alittle leak, not bad at all, a couple drips here and there due to being garage kept just original seals. rear hatch release does not work, just the switch is bad, couple interior cosmetics, nothin major at all only a couple 30 dollar peices, mainly the two armrests on doors the outer padding layer is just pulling off, no shift boot, tear in driver seat, other than that interior is in great shape with no cracks, the t56 is not all hooked up electrically due to lack of interest, I have hooked up the neutral saftey switch along with the reverse lights, unfortunatly I found out i need a 300 dollar part to change the electronic t56 signal into a gear drivin speedo signal, i have the connector for the t56 just not the part, it is an easy hook up with the part

acouple pictures should be attatched to this thread, if you would like to see more of the undercairage, t56 or anything let me know, make an offer, please email me at wildbird21@hotmail.com with questions/pics, thanx for looking you won't be disapointed

Re: 89 IROC-Z T56, full exhaust+

Hey kamikaze, yeah i will get a ton of pics to you tomarrow when i can get the undercarriage shots at work, as far as the l98, it came original with the car, the heads were rebuilt at a local machine shop in norristown, replaced everythingn but the valves(springs, retainers, vavle seals, pushrods that needed to be, same with rockers) head gaskets as well, everything as far as the block goes is stock, when i had the heads off i checked the cylynder walls for warping and wear patterns but found nothin wrong along with the top of the pistons, no they are the original 350 heads, i also have the original 700r4 trans which was still running when i took it out

Yeah,I got them thanks

what problems does not having the T56 hooked up electrically show? No cam, airfoil, FPR, any of the usual bolt-ons?

Re: 89 IROC-Z T56, full exhaust+

No, there are no other basic bolt on's done to it, I was planning on opening up the air blockage these beasts have with a cold air if i kept it and some lowering springs to go with the kyb performance shocks too start but i have too many cars and too much i want to do with them hah so had to pick one for the choppin block, As far as the t56 goes the wiring not being hooked up has nothing to do with the performance of the car and how it runs, it does throw a vehicle speed sensor(vss) code due to it not being hooked up yet, and the reverse lights don't work, i have all the parts and connectors to hook them up and would be able to for whoever if i sell it, any other ? let me know, thanx

Re: 89 IROC-Z T56, full exhaust+

hey, yeah i will take 3400 for it, I have hooked up the reverse lights and neutral start switch since i posted this thread, If you want the speedo hooked up i will prob need more than a week to do it, due to my schedule this upcoming week being so busy and won't be able to get to it, If you don't mind about the speedo being hooked up at the moment, i will also give it to you a couple hundred cheaper, which you could easily get a shop to do for less, let me know, my number is 6105749011, and i live near king of prussia/valley forge pennsylvania, about an hour west of philadelphia, where are you located? if you want my address to mapquest it and come check it out or have any other questions i can answer give me a ring/message me.
thanx steve
