1982 Z28 Camaro Gale Banks Twin Turbocharge System. The motor is a 350 cu. in. marine block with 4 bolt mains, LT1 rods Speed Pro Turbo pistons, forged crankshaft and copper "O" rings around each cylinder and the heads are ported & polished. The camshaft is from Gale Banks and is specially designed for this turbo system as well as the Holley 4 barrel carburetor. This system is rated at 500 horsepower. The car has a MSD ignition, 4 core rad, oil cooler, 2.5" stainless dual exhaust with 2 SuperTrapps, frame connectors plus a 6 point polished stainless steel roll cage, Ford 9" rearend with 31 spline Strange axels, Centerline rims and 50 series Yokohuma tires as well as power steering, power brakes, power windows, power drivers seat and air. The car has been winter stored every year and hardly driven at all the last several years (only about 100,000 km (60,000 miles) total mileage). Body wise there is no rust at all and the paint is still original except for one fender and a door. I have invested well over $40,000 (CDN) into this car over the years.
The car runs very well and is easy to handle until you give it; then the turbos kick in and she really flys. Boost pressures of 10 -15 psi are normal.
