92 Z/28 5.0, 5sp, TPI, 13.9k miles - Camaros for Sale - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

This car has been a track car almost its whole life, hence the low milage. Thankfully it has always been in stock classes and has not been modified.
It has a bolt in certified roll cage with removable side bars. The car is a very low optioned Z/28, with the G92 posi disc brake rearend. The engine is completly stock and original. The body is rust free but has some bumps and scratches from racing (front lower ground fx, and driver door ding). The air bag has been disconnected (required for racing) hence the dash light is on. The tires are new Yokohama ES100's, for street driving. The factory seat belts are installed, as I use them for street driving. I will include the five point harness I have and the shop manual.

Very sweet ride... how many of those 13.9k miles were at the track? I've tracked my C6 twice on HPDE events at road courses, and it thrashes the hell out of the car... just wondering. Also, what sort of events did you do, and what sanctioning body / standard set does your cage comply with?

I'm not sure how many miles are track time verses steet driven but the original owner bought the car to race in SCCA club racing ITE class and had the cage installed. I raced this past season in SCCA Solo 2, F Stock class.
New asking price $8900.
I would edit the original listing but it won't let me.

It's a shame that someone bought a new vehicle to do what it was designed to do? If that is the case do not do your 3.4 swap. I race in SOLO 2 ESP. The car I RACE was 1 of only 4 built. Is that wrong?

I think people forget these cars were meant to be driven...and hard. I think Glenn will attest to the way I am on the track. His car is a pristine example of a very well maintained race school car. I allmost think he is giveing it away at the new price.

Amen to all of your points. Like I said, if I wasn't leaving thirdgens now, I would meet that price in a heartbeat.

I guess I will not be getting a C6 then, cause if it thrashes a car like that then what would be the point in having a high performance car then. I guess the only car for me would be a Camaro cause I have put many thru much and never thrashed ANYTHING. So , dont buy a corvette if your going to race it, cause they get thrashed only after 2 times racing. OH... yes the tires do get a Royal thrashing, even from my 305 camaro.
