This was my daily driver up until a month ago when she wouldn’t start. I believe it is the fuel pump because I do not hear the normal hum as it primes when I turn the key. Otherwise the engine runs strong, does not burn oil, and gets 26 mpg highway. Transmission shifts fine. She went on a cross country road trip at 212,000 miles with no problems.
The car is in need of a lot of work and thus would be best as a parts/project car. Front left fender is smashed in from an accident (the damage to the suspension was repaired). Pinion bearing whines from having been run with low gear oil, but I have been driving with it like that for 1 year without further problems. No muffler.
Interior is clean since this was a commuter car and pretty much never carried any passengers. Windshield has a couple of small chips but no cracks. A lot of tread on the rear tyres, but the fronts need to be replaced. A/C was converted to R-134a and blows cold.
I have AAA, so if needed I could have it towed to your location (100 mile max, tolls not included).
