Also a small stress crack above the window(normal for 3rd gens i am told) and tiney chip in the wind sheild.I could fix it all for a couple hundred $$ but I like it orig. I will emall picks to those interested

| Re: 17k mi Z28 The hood is steel that is why their is a very small spot of rust on it. I am basing my starting price on cars on and sold on ebay wich i have been watching on and off for a couple of months. Also cars for sale on this site. I belive it is fair for a 17,000 mile car! |

Car: 88 Camaro T-Tops Engine: 305HO Transmission: T-5 Axle/Gears: 3.23 Limited Slip | Re: 17k mi Z28 not trying to be a bump in the road since everyone is like doubting you but how long have you owned this car? i mean to buy a car from someone and say it only has 17k miles on it....Doesnt seem reliable. I mean if youve had the car for over 10 yrs i could sorta MAYBEbelieve it but i mean come on...car thats that old....and not being the original owner....sounds like odometer just rolled over to me |

| Re: 17k mi Z28 I have to agree , these were 5 digit speedometers and mine shows 18k, also if you look at the fenderwells and other small issues I would have to see documentation of milage.Again you have a very nice car but the true third gen enthuast will doubt the original miles and you will have a hard time selling it for that kind of money. I am second owner of my 1983 Z and I have covered the cosmetic bases to bring out the best in it.I think you should stand back and take a good hard look at every nook and cranny to prove the 17k
Good luck with the sale |

| Re: 17k mi Z28 Thats not fare I have owned the car for less than a year. I have carfacted the car. I bought it from a man that was 50 and lived with his mother, it has not been reisterd since 1994 acording to DMV, they dont lie. The car has the original wheels and belts. I dident belive the miles myself but the car is to clean and orig to be rolled back. THe clutch has a litle ware(almost unnoticabule) I have the orig filter and spark plugs they were only changed for the performence vershion. I have had it in a car show and no one though it did not have orig miles. All send anyone picks of anything. People just dont belive it becuse most 80% out their are junk THis is not. thanks |

| Re: 17k mi Z28 I never post on here, but I have seen and owned low mile cars with sagging headliners and rust on the under side of the hood. A friend of mine has an 83 H/o with similar miles and has similar flaws right down to the butt burns in the carpet and saggy headliner. Why don't you nagging tire kickers just let the a real buyer decide. |
