Hello, I bought this car 3.5 years ago...planning to read and research until I finally decided which direction i wanted to take the car. Unfortunately, I am headed for at least a four year tour away from the IROC. Okay details...shortly after I bought it the transmission croaked....I was away in the Air Force for a year's worth of training, so my old man had a buddy at AAMCO rebuild the tranny. I replaced the tires a year ago. I have driven the car only during my occasional visit back to Richmond Virginia. My old man takes it around the block once a week and occasionally to the Home Depot lol. Total mileage is 140k with 3k on transmission and 10k on the rebulit 305. The car is red on red auto TPI 305 PW T-tops....It was repainted about 8 years ago..so it is beginning to be everso faded. The car is very straight and has almost zero rust. I will try to answer any and all questions....I am asking 3000 for the car and I am open to trading it and some cash for a 350 with a manual transmission....preferably another IROC.

I think some folks would like to see pics. You know how some people only look at the pictures in the magazine, its the same with selling a car sometimes.

nah...I am in georgia and the car is in VA right now....I do not have any pics on my new PC. If someone is truly interested and says they want to see some pics I will get my father to send some to me,

UPDATE: Hey guys have not been home to sell the car....havent tried very hard to be honest. It is not hurting anything and I still think it is a cool old car It just goes for a drive every sunday for about 10 miles. I will list it locally in May when I am at hime in virginia. In the meantime I will list it here while I am deployed. this time I will have internet where I am going and I have pics I can email if anyone is interested. They are too big to upload here;( I have 2000 in just the tranny and new tires! I will take 2900 for the car. Email if interested @rmaxfiel@vt.edu
