1988 IROC-Z 305 TPI 5 Speed - near Madison WI - $2100
I'm moving across country so this needs to go... I don't have the time or money to invest anyway. Ran well last time I drove it except for a low RPM stumble which it had when I bought it from the previous owner (give it some gas and it's fine). This may be a tuning issue - seems like it runs rich - since it has a bunch of after-market stuff. I put Stabil in when the car was last run a a little over year ago but tried to fire it up today and it wouldn't run for long. Battery is new so maybe the starter or alternator - the voltmeter reads below 13v and fluctuates. So you'll need to trailer it!
Car is black, hardtop, 5 speed 305 TPI with a bunch of after-market stuff & ~ 70,000 miles on the clock.
Stuff the previous owner did that's visible:
-Kenny Brown Double Diamond sub-frame connectors (welded in).
-SLP headers & exhaust.
-Have a TPIs fuel pressure regulator kit which is still in the shrink wrap.
-After-market wries and distributor.
The previous owner told me that car also has (and I don't have the receipts from the previous owner so I make NO claims that is actually the case):
-Also have a black bra for it - looks pretty new and I've never used it.
Headliner is missing but interior is otherwise complete and in fair shape.
Bottom line: this is straight car in good condition... no body rust as far as I am aware - you are more than welcome to come and inspect it thoroughly.
Give me your email and I'll send pictures... I don't have any place to host pics. Also have a dyno graph from the previous owner I can include - shows the made 238 at the rear wheels, which lends solidity to the claims that the car has a cam and intake work.
Price: $2100 - the parts alone are worth that. Excellent starting point for a new project.

Ok why the heck I can't edit my post now I don't know..
Anyway price reduced to $1750..
Trying to find a place to host a few pics... I am on dial-up still.
In terms of options.
- Has AC and it worked last time I had the car running.
- Has power locks.
- Not sure about the seat... will check.
- Disc front brakes, drums on the rear.
I have a picture of the options codes sticker but it's kinda hard to read because of the angle it was taken from since it's in the center console.
