| 89 CAMARO 350 TPI IN NORTHERN IL Well guys I have come to a crossroads and need to sell my Camaro. It is an 89 RS that I put a 88 350 tpi engine into. The motor has 72,000 miles on it with an auto trans. The car has 112,xxx miles on it. The car is extremely clean. There were 2 rust bubbles on it when i got it and I took care of them. The car has a brand new carpet piece for the rear but hte front is original and is slightly stained. The rear seats are not torn but slightly stained. The front seats are torn on the drivers side but there are covers on them now. I do have a guy that will sell me the seats and carpet out of his 86 with low miles for $200. I can pass on his number to you. The car does have a 2 inch cowl hood, but I do have the original flat hood if the buyer wants it. The only thing this car will need is a spare tire. The hood and hatch struts are new. The rear hatch latch works great and I do have an extra motor for it if it ever goes out. The tires on the car have about 85-90 percent tread left and the Iroc rims are in great condition.
The motor is out of a 88 Trans Am GTA, that was rearended. The drivertrain was not affected. I got the computer and the harness with the motor when I bought it and the wiring is currently being installed in the car. It will be done this week. From the wiring shop, it will be brought over to a muffler shop and the 3 inch exhaust will be put on. SO it will have new exhaust from the y-pipe back. Oh yea, this car has a set of shorty headers on it too.
This car can be purchased in a variety of ways. Either:
First, you can buy the car as is in a nice 2k Primer yellow for $3500.00
Second, I can paint the car black (car was red) with HOC basecoat/clearcoat for $4200.00
Third, you pick out the color you want it to be, as long as the color is a reasonable price, and I will paint it for you for a total of $5000.00
I have been painting cars for the past 15 years and have many show winners in the area.
If interested, please call me at 630-688-5113 ask for Paul.
