I am selling my 1988 IROC-Z project car. I think it would be a great restoration project for someone with the experience and tools, but I have neither. The car's interior is incomplete, but I have most all of the interior/seats etc in boxes and such and will give it with the car. The car in all needs a whole new floor pan. But, other than that, it shows some potential. A great project car for someone with the time/money. The trans from what I know was just rebuilt and hasnt really been driven since. The engine runs, but could use a good tuneup.

Re: 1988 IROC-Z Camaro ILLINOIS $1500 OBO project car
Yea man, I have all the rest of the interior. The only thing I would not have for the car is the headliner plastic and the carpet. I have all the interior plastics and such from the 5 rear plastic pieces to the dash board top, the passenger seat, the rear seat. If needed I can put the stuff back in the car securely, but I was planning on jsut putting it in the car when it was picked up, after looked at. Also, the car is an auto. Everythinig in the car is original, so for the 88 auto was only option of course for t-tops with 350.
Re: 1988 IROC-Z Camaro ILLINOIS $1500 OBO project car
ok thanks dude, i wasnt sure if there had been a t-5 swap done or not. i was aware that the 350 tpi only came with the auto tranny option from the factory. i was kind of looking for a 5 speed only though. i just dont want to spend the money for something that i dont 100% like...i love 5 speeds, that is what my daily driver is and its way faster than any other cars ive ever been in (and im currently storing my best friends cobalt ss while he is at basic traning, ive drove it and i still would take a 5 speed over it.)so thanks for your time.
Re: 1988 IROC-Z Camaro ILLINOIS $1500 OBO project car
yea u would need a dolly probably. I don't reccommend driving b/c nothing is covering the floor openings. I am asking 700 for the car atm. The trans is in awesome condition. The engine runs good. But, it could use a tune up, it's been awhile.
Re: 1988 IROC-Z Camaro ILLINOIS $1500 OBO project car
crap, sorry, yea its all disk brake. Didn't reallize thats what he was asking. That was over my head. I paid 1900 for the car, so my pops is making me stick to a 1000 for the car
Re: 1988 IROC-Z Camaro ILLINOIS $1500 OBO project car
Thats not a bad car for $1,000. How many miles are on the odometer and the title? Does the car move under its own power? I could have Able auto pick it up for me I have used them before but how would you take payment? I am in NJ and dont plan to fly out to pay you.
Re: 1988 IROC-Z Camaro ILLINOIS $1500 OBO project car
The car has ~200,000 Ya it moves np, I have moved the car a bit back and forth and around when need be. For this circumstance I would appreciate payment by money order. I would then after getting payment, send title in mail.(Security) Thanks for the interest
