Feeler: 86 Camaro Z28 - Show Quality car..with some GO!

At this time, this is just a feeler thread but if an offer comes in that I can't refuse, it will sell. I think 90% of people know all about the car, but I'll break it down;

ENGINE

*'91 350, 1 pc rear main & roller provisions
*TrickFlow Twisted Wedge aluminum heads - Freshly rebuild in winter 2007/2008
*Hypereutectic, 0.030" over Dished pistons (~8.8:1 compression ratio)
*Crane Roller Rockers 1.5 ratio
*Tall, "Chevrolet" stamped chrome valve covers
*Billet HEI distributor w/upgraded coil
*Taylor wires
*CompCam XtremeEnergy Hyd Roller Cam 218*/224*@.050" with .495"/.502" lift
*CompCam dual springs
*Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
*Wildgoose Street/Stip Prepped QJet Carb

*Dynomax 940 CFM muffler
*2.5" aluminized tail pipes
*LT1 Flywheel
*Last dynoed at 310 RWHP/342 RWTQ (Spring 2006)

DRIVETRAIN

*New CCI Stage 3 Clutch
*T-56 (6-spd) trans from a '95 Z28 -has ~15,000 miles on it total at this point.
*Cable X VSS Speedometer Converter
*Pro 5.0 Shifter
*Aluminum driveshaft
*3.73 Posi 10 bolt with PBR disks and calipers.

SUSPENSION
*Eibach ProKit springs
*Poly Bushings throughout
*36/24mm swaybars
*GM Wonderbar
*Koni "Red" Adjustable struts
*DeCarbon Monotube shocks
*18" x 8.5" C6 Motorsports wheels (knockoffs)
*255/40/18 Dunlop front, Pirelli rears
*Spohn Transmission Crossmember w/ Torque Arm
*Spohn Boxed Lower Control Arms
*Spohn LCA Relocation brackets
*Spohn Adjustable track bar
*Spohn Subframe Connectors

INTERIOR

*Original Grey Carpet in great shape and clean
*Seats front and rear from a '95 Z28. Very clean comfortable and the drivers seat is 8 way power adjustable
*Recovered headliner, visiors, and speaker covers
*Over head convenience console w/milage/date reminder, flash light, Garage door opener holder, and map light
*Center view mirror w/map lights (from a Cadillac) -It actually works way better than the 3 stock map lights!
*Dash pad has no cracks
*Door panels look good
*Gauge cluster replaced with a 140mph/7000 RPM cluster
*Pioneer Head Unit
*Kenwood EQ
*Pioneer/Kenwood/Alpine amps
*Alpine Plates in dash
*3-way Pioneer 6x9's behind sail panels
*2-12" Kicker subs in a baffle board which also houses a pair of 3" midrange and 2 poly tweeters.
*PW/PDL/PM - Everything works in this car.

BODY
*Never been in an accident that bent any metal.
*New 3-stage Dupont Chrome Orange Paint - Real head turner
*New Windshield, coolant & washer fluid bottles this spring
*Custom Z28 black badges & decal
*Blacked out & Clear coated Rear Taillights
*All new weatherstripping
*Glass is in great shape
*T-Tops are not scratched, work well lock and unlock, and only leak in a car wash; not in the rain
*Hood & Hatch cylinders work great

Before the paint job, the car had NO RUST. I repainted because I wanted to change the color, and the original paint was getting tired. The windshield was also original before I replaced it. The undercarriage is in excellent condition with no signs of rust.

I'm sure I missed something, but that's the jist of it.

It was appraised Aug 2007 for $10,000 before all the work I did this past winter including the paint job.

I'll start at $13,000 OBO, or willing to trade for a hardtop/5-spd track car, or work in progress hardtop/5-spd car to make a track car.

I have a work in progress track car hard top but its not a 5 speed. It has an 8pt. competition engineering roll cage and welded sub frame connectors. So the chassis is set up for the track. It comes with everything in the add and more.

Check it out id be interested in a trade.

Thanks and nice car, but that looks setup for drag racing. I'm looking for a road racing track car.

Re: Feeler: 86 Camaro Z28 - Show Quality car..with some GO!

OK - Limited time offer! $8,000 FIRM! That doesn't even cover the paint job if you get it done at a shop. Probably half of what it would appraise at!

If it's not sold buy Sept 7th, it's off the market till next spring where I'll probably put it up for $12,000.....it would just save me the storage fees over the winter since I need the room for the track car.
