I recently purchased a berlinetta from my aunt. She took extremely good care of the car, regular oil changes ect.. she hit a deer with it, and was in the process of restoring it, she bought all the stuff to put it back to its original condition, including a brand new hood. but then her husband had some medical issues and couldnt do it so it sat for a little bit and i offered to buy it off her. I put it all back together and am starting to realize that id rather have somethin else(i was thinkin a BMW!) so im tryin to get an idea of what i can sell this for or part it out for. im going to post this and let it run for a week or two and see what kinda offers i get and then ill sell it to the highest offer and if i dont get offered what i think its worth then ill just part it out........... the car is a red 1986 berlinetta one of about 1400 made in that year from what i could gather from production numbers posted on here. the interior is immaculant not a cigarette burn or nothing anywhere. the top of the dash has a crack in the vinyl. the console lid has a crack in it. but other than that theres nothin wrong with the interior. the exterior, well it looks like any 22 year old paint job would, if your gonna restore the car its gonna need paint. the passenger door has a couple small dents from *******s next to me in a parkin lot. the hood has a small dent on the corner and in the middle but not on the ridge in the center the happened in the shipping process. like i said its a brand new hood still primer black from the factory. all the windows are there and theres no cracks in any of them. the engine works great but has an exhaust leak theres about 132000 miles on it. ok if you want to know anything else let me know. and i know people are gonna want to see pics but i have to go to work and ill be posting them tomarrow...oh im the second owner my aunt has had it since she bought it new in 87. but ive never even drove it yet ive been to busy workin havent haad alotta time to work on it. ok well just post an offer or question or whatever.

the asking price?..... well like i said im tryin to see what i can get out of it i dont really know exactly how much its worth but i have an idea. everytime i searched for a 1986 camaro berlinetta all i found were people lookin for parts for these so i know people will pay for some of the parts on the car but id rather sell it all together, that is where i dont really know how much its worth. i know how much i paid for it but it was from my aunt and she didnt know what she had. so pretty much in a nutshell you tell me what you would pay for it but just wait untill i can get these pics up. well i just got off work and its 2 oclock in the morning so the pics will be posted as soon as i wake up and can get outside to take them. The cars is really not a bad car at all but i just dont have the tyme for this car and to tell you the tuth id rather have a bmw. and i didnt mention this in the first post but this is a 6 cylinder 2.8 mpfi motor and its automatic transmission.

im not parting it out anymore. my uncle(a certified Mechanic for GM) found out i had the camaro and wants to help me fix it up a lil before i sell it so i can get a lil bit more out of it. i found another berlinetta in my area that i can swipe parts from. ok ill try to keep you all up to date on whats goin on with the car and when itll be ready to sell. i think im probably going to be askin around 1500 for it depending on what gmy uncle has in mind for the car. so that price is not a definate price. and i will be posting more pics when its closer to being done. ok well thats about it for right now ill be back on here quite frequently to keep ya'll updated
