After 13 years of loyal service, I've decided to sell my '87 IROC. The car is solid even with 167,000 on the clock. No drivetrain problems whatsoever. Any issues that ever came about were immediately resolved. This car is very well maintained; and runs extremely well considering the mileage. I have no doubts that it should see 200,000+ if given the same care that I provided... The car was run at Maple Grove a few years back; and it pulled off a 14.5 @ 95 m.p.h on street tires on the second run. (This was my first time on the track, so I'm sure there's more potential in it) - The only reason I'm selling it is because I simply don't drive it anymore. I have other cars, and I hate to see this thing deteriorate from not being used. - The pics are from a year ago, when I was contemplating the Corvette wheels (that's why they're photoshopped). They are now installed with 275 Sumitomo's on all 4 corners. (I still have the originals - they'll be included, as well as the original seats) The only real changes to this car are Eibach 1-1/2" drop springs, a rebuilt 700-R4, & seats from a 2000 camaro.
The inspecion is current

Reason: car was sold
The corvette wheels are currently installed on the car. I had to use a set of 2" alum. spacers front & rear to achieve optimum clearance. I'll try to get a current pic since the photoshop doesn't properly represent the stance with the wider wheels & tires. - It now has the tires set evenly with the fender lip; as well as having a smaller gap with the new springs... Btw; there's no rubbing issues with this setup.
O.k. I took some pics of the car when I got home from work. Sorry for the quality, but I was running out of daylight and I didn't feel like digging out the camera; so the cell phone had to do. Just wanted to show that the corvette wheels fit with the 1-1/2" drop and no clearance issues.
Hey where at in NE Pa? I live in southern Va and I'm very interested. I'm a truck driver and wont be home for another week, but seeing as how there isn't much interest here, I'm not worried about it being gone by then. I'd like to come up and take a look at it when I do get home if we can work that out. Thanks.
