if anyone knows someone looking for an iroc convertible, I am looking to trade for a a 97 and up or so wrangler, something unmodded, not lifted or anything. must be an automatic, 6 cyl.
Would also sell for $5500
Mine is an 88, TPI, 5 speed (LB9)
paint is driver quality. could use a repaint in my opinion.
New Parts:
New Top $1200
New (front) calipers, pads, brake hoses
new radiator
new battery
new starter
just fixed the A/C
new rear sway bar links
new cat
new cat back exhaust (hooker)
new mass air flow sensor and relays
new ECM
I am sure I am forgetting something.
104K miles, runs good.

I got ya... I really like your car but my Jeep is the opposite of what you want!

Good luck on your sale... Can I ask why you are going for such a drasticly different vehicle? I love the Jeep though mine does not see much if any on road use anymore so if youre looking for a cruiser, Jeeps are great and good move on the I-6 only!

Whats the inspection sticker at?
needs a new owner . no major problems, paint is original. could use some refresher carpet. thats about it. Inspection is good through August 09. it failed two years ago miserably until I put a new cat on and it sailed through way under the limits

nice jeep! Honestly, I bought the car two years ago to fix it up and have something to work on, like all of us, I had irocs 20 years ago (that hurt to say). Now I have two small kids and I would still like something fun that would be a little easier to put them in to cruise around the neighborhood and the beach (car seats will not fit in the back of the convertible and 88s did not have harnesses) and the 4x4 would be nice for the snowy commutes 40 miles away. the automatic is for the wife if she wants or needs to use a 3rd car and sitting in traffic on my commute sucks. I had a 89 wrangler with a 5 speed and a 01 Mustang GT convertible 5 speed and where I drive now, doesnt make a standard "fun to shift" Definitelty the 6 is the way to go, they last for 300,000 miles
