I have to sell my 89 IROC. Black with gray interior.
Here's the good parts-
rear mounted batterys, one standard size and one lawn tractor size with an isolator to drive the onboard 110 volt inverter for the computer.
The console has a pentium 3 computer built in with navigation and it's also interfaced into the LT1 PCM which enables data logging, and flashing different firmware for the engine and trans. A few different firmwares are included on the hard drive along with about 20 gigs of .mp3 and some movies, some diagnostic software and other useful programs.
The computer is hooked up to an LCD screen mounted on the dash in front of the passenger seat. It also has a 4 channel sound system but one of the speakers needs replacement. The computer is controlled primarily by a trackball mounted on the console and a wireless keyboard. USB, Ethernet,110v outlet and audio Line In jack for an ipod or whatever in the dash where the radio used to be.
9 inch ford rear 3.25 posi custom fixture built housing using the stock 28 spline 9 bolt axles, outer tubes and pbr disk brakes.
1995 350 LT1 stock except for a custom tune, 160 thermostat and LT5 knock module. This is an iron head LT1 like what's used in roadmasters, impala ss and fleetwoods.
4l60e trans with a transgo kit and .500 boost valve. Trans is set up for standard or performance mode with the push of a button. The engine and trans has about 60,000 miles on it.
LS1 brakes up front.
welded in custom subframe connectors.
100 shot custom hidden N2O system.
The headlights being driven right off the alternator via some bosch relays, you can see all the relays to the left on the fenderwell in the engine compartment shot. Lights up the road real nice.
Runs mid 14's on the motor and mid 13's on the bottle.
I would not hesitate to get in this car and drive it anywhere. It's fun to drive.
If you do a search for my user name in this forum you'll find pictures and info on how I built this thing. Also search user "turbochris" at mp3car.com for info on how I built the computer into the console.
This is a good IROC with a solid LT1 conversion. There's just too many little things on this car that make it stand out from the rest to list here.
here's the bad parts- It has dings, scratches and dents but no significant body damage. The interior is about 85% restored. It shows 98,000 on the odometer but that's a little high because I went from the 2.73 9 bolt to a 3.25 nine inch and never changed to the correct speedo gear, I just use the GPS to see how fast I'm going. It probably around 85,000 on the car in reality. I replaced the t top seals but they still leak a little. It has 16 inch wheels, some have some curb rash. It needs parking brake cables. The auto pulldown for the hatch needs some work. A few minor interior parts are missing. the sun visors and headliner are missing.
The back tires are bald and the fronts aren’t too far behind. I have the louvers for the hood, I took them off when they started peeling back at around 140mph.
I really don’t want to get rid off this thing but I have my own business and I need something with a trunk to carry my tools and equipment. I have some misc. extra parts that go with it. Please excuse the pollen, the plants around here decided to have an orgy.

$3750 obo takes it
