Florida 82 Indy Z28 in Melbourne *Rolling Chassis* - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Its a 1982 Camaro Z28 rolling chassis, and numbers match as a Indy pace car replica.

I call it ls1 swap ready, because the car includes:
--walbro 255 fuel pump
--spohn ls1 motor mounts already installed
--custom true dual 3" exhaust with ls1 manifolds and bolt on tailpipes. tailpipes can be unbolted to run mufflers dumped at the axle.

other stuff included:
--15" american racing TT2s shown in picture with BFGoodrich tires. (235/60/15 front, 255/60/15 rear)
--Original factory z28 fiberglass hood.
--black interior from 87 IROC Z
--welded subframe connectors
--New silver z28 badges and hood badge

problems:
--It needs a new steering wheel. you can move the car with it as it is now, but the column tilt is broken and wont lock.
--fuel level gauge sender is broken
--clear coat is peeling off
--couples rust holes where t-tops are
--driver's door handle is broken
--passenger window doesnt move
-- missing the torque arm, i used on the other fbody I own.

This car was an excellent and reliable daily driver and would makes a great ls1 platform for the street or strip.
