I bought this with plans on turning it into a road racer. Long story short, there's another car I might have my eye on.
specs:
originally 305 TPI/auto
t-tops
completely gutted interior, nothing but a stock drivers seat and dash
spray painted flat black inside
professionally installed 6pt cage, flat black
no motor or trans
will have stock suspension, hood with louvers, rear hatch
passenger side door is welded shut, but can be cut open again
drivers side has a hole cut into the quarter for a chain, to be chained shut both doors still can open by manually operating the door release latch
it can never be turned into a street car, at least not without an insane amount of work. all non essential parts, brackets, wiring has been removed. no headlights, tails, blinkers, hatch hold-down, a/c, hvac, emissions, etc. i will however throw in whatever parts i have left, such as the front & rear lights, blinkers, power hatch pull down.
obviously this isnt a driver, but will make a good start for a drag car, or more so a road racer. CMC, American Iron, autox, time attack, whatever you're into.
in all honesty, what could i ask for this? if it wasnt for the other car needing a cage, i would have bought it already. but the cost of the cage intall is the only thing keeping me from it. what does everyone think......$1500 $800? any ideas?
