91 RS Convertible 5 speed with 18,000 miles. I bought the car from the original owner with about 14,000 miles on it in 1997. It has never been in the rain and been well cared for. Original tires and window sticker. Had plans to make it the main car I'd drive in the Summer. Same old story......worried about something happening to it. Not real sure what to ask for it. Talked to a few people that had similar cars to get an idea. $16,900.

Maybe asking too much? Basically like new with no modifications. Someone told me they didn't make many of these. Driving and enjoying might be best if it's not all that rare. Comments or thoughts welcome from someone with more knowledge on these than me.
you need to list the options the car has. more history of the car. lots of pictures. and if it was a Z28, your price would be somewhat reasonable. but its an RS which makes most people just turn away. I'd say $12k at most. thats just my opinion. I myself still wouldnt pay $12k for an RS vert. but thats me. just thought i'd give you a reply since thats kinda what your looking for. some poeple out there ask crazy high prices for their cars, and will never get more than picture requests.
Good luck with the sale. I'm sure you can take it to car shows and bring home trophys.
Thank you for the reply. Been busy, sorry it took so long. Can lower the price. Going back and forth on what I lower it to or when I just keep it and drive it. Maybe an occasional show. Can get more pictures. Had to pick three.
The car was ordered by a GM employee or executive's son. Not sure what position his dad held. He ordered it with an automatic and when it arrived on the lot with a stick, he called a friend of mine to bring it home. Told him there were no more and that was it. I drove it that day and told him when he was ready to sell, call me. Only drove it on nice days and some trips on the freeway within the state. Called me when he was ready to sell and we agreed on a price. Looks like it did the first time I drove it.
Again, thanks for the reply. Will drop price to $14,900 for now.
Sharp car...RS or not it does have a 5 speed, is it excellent shape, color is good and the miles are really low. In this market $14-15k may be high but i would hang in there. Someone will come along. Good luck with the sale.
Wanted to put some of the options up. Hadn't thought much about it. Someone told me one of the numbers in the vin told him it was an original conv. car. Looking at the window sticker........Has equipment group #2... A/C, Stereo cassette, pwr windows and locks, speed control, body molding, floor mats. Also, has Leather seats. 5.0 EFI V8. R-16 S/B radial tires. Twin remote mirrors. $530 credit for 5 speed Manual trans. 16" aluminum wheels w/locks.
if anything the 5speed will sell it. i wish i was near you and had that kind of money. the manual camaro's are so hard to find in good condition. try listing it on eBay with a buy it now and best offer its only like $5 and if you sell its another $100 or something like that but if you don't sell you can list it again for another $5 and I see a lot of camaro's go for more than what they should on ebay but then again this one is more expensive then most of them
Thanks for the reply. Ebay may be the way to go. Always have had Pontiacs, but drove the car the first day it showed up and told him I'd like to be the next owner. Sits beside all Pontiacs now. Didn't realize they made very few 5 speeds until a couple years ago. Just made me drive it less. Price may be a bit high, but not a whole lot of cars this age with everything from the factory. Everything except the battery. Had to start with a price somewhere. Thanks again for response.
