For Sale - My beautiful 1987 IROC. It's Blue, Grey interior, Automatic, runs great. Has $1,000 worth of front end work, tranny has been tuned up, new dash (not the plastic dash pad). Has a great sounding Sony FM/CD/MP3 player with Kenwood amp driving an MTX Sub.
This car has NO RUSt at all that I can see. It is my daily driver. Believe it or not, it gets 24 mpg on the highway if you don't get crazy with the right pedal. It has a brand new exhaust system with flow masters $500. Idles as smooth as the day it left the plant in Ohio. This was the last year the IROC was built in the states (production went to Canada after 1987) This is a true 5.7 the 8th degit is an 8 (if you know IROC codes, then you know what I'm talking about) The interior is in good condition, the drivers seat being the only issue as it shows signs of wear. It comes with two pairs of T-Tops. It has a new pull down rear hatch mechanism, and all the glass is good. The Odometer reads 120,000 but I can't really confirm that the mileage is correct as it is too easy to alter.
The previous owner had it repainted and the only issue is on the hood where the clear coat has peeled and the paint is chipping and some peeling on the window pillar, have pics of the whole car and the undercarriage. All gauges work, except the RPM reads wrong. The fog lights are the originals put have been taken apart and refurbished. Tires are excellent and the wheels have no curb brush. Has new "5.7 TUNED PORT INJECTION" emblem on rear $55. Car has power windows, power brakes, power steering, 4 wheel disc brakes, power locks, rear folding seats. The a/c was working but might need a recharge (I never use it, always have the tops off). Has a new steering column and brand new Grant GT steering wheel.
I'd hate to sell my IROC, but things are slowing down at work, and wife says the kids are getting tired of ketchup sandwishes. This car runs awesome, and is worth every penny. They are getting harder and harder to come by in this condition. This was an original Florida car and has never seen snow. The previous owner removed the smog pump, but I have a used one just not had the need to install it. Serious inquiries only please. This car MUST go to a good home. It has survive and should be in a good home. People come up and want to see it closer everywhere I go! I can deliver within 500 miles of DC for the price of gas only, anywhere else we would have to arrange a fair price for me to drive it, but it would have to be cash in advance. Car would make it anywhere, also would help out making the transport arrangements, asking $4,800 firm, selling it, not giving it away. This is a cash transaction, ask as many questions as you like. This is an awesome car for the price, and has been taken car of by an adult.
Thanks!
