1992 Chevy Camaro Z28 w/53K ORIGINAL MILES !!!SOLD!!!
******SOLD******
Hey everybody, my name is Mike from Milwaukee, WI (262) 894-4500. I am looking to sell my camaro, with an asking price of $7,500. Buyer is responsible for pick up and/or shipping. Roadtrips are always fun too, thats how I got it when I purchased it from Nebraska in 2005. Anyway, please take a look.
I purchased it when it had 21K miles on it, when I then added another 32K. It is a non-smoker driven only in summer & garaged with cover during winter. That is the original Purple Haze paint, hood was painted to match. I have carfax report to give to you to show history report. I will accept cash, certified check or money order. Title is clear and ready for pick up.
I have a ton of pictures, too much to put on the site here. Email me if you want to see them. In the meantime you can check out my youtube link above.
Power windows, Power locks, Power Steering, Power seat, Power mirrors, 4-wheel disk brakes, electric trunk, and more. Now...on with the good stuff....
Im a little confused. That car should have a TPI motor in it but I see an LT1 motor, well the LT1 intake anyways. Whats that about.
No, thats not an LT1. Its the factory L98 motor, block & crank & pistons. It just looks like an LT1 cuz TPIS' Mini-ram Intake manifold looks similar, but breathes a bit easier. I mentioned that in the ad. I can see where you may have thought that though.
I might be interested. do you still have the original hood and wheels?
I do have the original hood & wheels, the rims are flawless. The front tires are brand new & the rear wheels are Nitto Drag Radials. They have a couple of 1/4 mile runs on them. I always used these rims for the race track, cuz they are smaller in diameter. Believe it or not, I can literally feel the power difference between the 16's over the 17's. The 17's just look better, IMO.

Nice car! Does it come with all the original parts? Do you have documentation (original window sticker, build sheet, etc.?)
Did the car have NOS or a supercharge on it? What's it run in the quarter?
Thanks,
Greg
Thanks! I do not have the original window sticker, I can include all the original parts for a serious buyer at asking price.
The factory tires & rims alone are probably worth 500 & the hood can probably go for another 150 - 200. But for the right car enthusiast, the factory parts are important, so yes, I can include them. The car is for sale locally, so it probably won't last very long.
I have all receipts for everything on the car. There is no NOS, the toggle switch you see on the center council by the window controls is the "Electronic Lock-up switch" to engage the stall converter.
Does not have a supercharger. It ran 13.3 @ 104 last fall, when it had 281rwhp and 282 rwtq. After adding the cold air intake and a re-tune, it has 308 rwhp & 313 rwtq. Haven't been to track since, i'd guess 12.9 - 13.1??

Thanks, hopefully it sells!! I get that often, like I said I can see where you may have thought that. This is my work bench prior to the intake transplant though, just to show ya.
Ive got a 97 Z28 Im putting a 383 stroker in now, and the intakes are almost identical! Mine looks exactly the same withe the red in between the ridges. That particular year is the only one I havent had, but good luck with the sell man!
We're way off topic, is there anyone here interested in purchasing my car that I posted? I'm sorry the thread was getting cluttered with pictures, so I removed them. At least we still have the thumbnails.
If there is anything else you wish to see, let me know. I need to sell this asap.

Come on guys! This is a killer car at a killer price! I absolutely LOVE the color. Kind of reminds me of a purple 71 Hemi Cuda...
Anyways, I got sucked into a business deal and cars are not at the top of the list right now or it would be setting in the garage. There's at least $1,000 in parts alone!

Thanks for the compliment, at least this other guys comment "Too bad its purple" landed me a bump. I have a local guy looking at it now, but we'll see where it goes.
I wasnt tryin to give you a hard time. i just dont like purple thats all. Otherwise its an awesome looking car.
How long ago did you get the SLP headers? Is the cowl hood steel? I also have a Harwood 4 inch cowl(fiberglass) and the fitiment on mine sux. The front has a lip on it and it doesnt match with the nose of the car like the one you have.
Gorgeous car man wished mine looked like it. Hopefully somone buys that thing soon, up for sale way too long for a cherry 53k car thats modded tastefully. Free bump!
What kind of shape is the paint in? Looks like the nose could use a repaint, what about the original hood and rest of the car?
The nose can use a paint, yah. When I bumped into a high parking block, it caused that tip to lose its paint. The quality of the paint on the rest of the car is in great shape!
The factory hood looks just as nice as the rest of the car. No chips at all.
btw, are you guys able to see the thumbnails of all the pics on this thread? I took down the pictures that I originally had up, cuz it was difficult to scroll. When I did that, I was still seeing thumbnails. If you can't see them, email me & I can re-post them up.

Its cool, the majority likes it. The SLP headers & Trickflow heads were the only modifications when I bought the car. The cowl hood is fiberglass, painted on both sides. GM code 9802, as the rest of the car is. It was tough to line up, its not like anyone will see it when i'm in front of them!

So basically you trimmed the edges off of the hood? The hood came with 1 inch of extra material on the sides and the front of it.
Otherwise i got mine to line up ok, with exception of the hood sitting flush with the nose of the car. Mine has a half inch gap between the hood and the nose. Thanks for the info.

I didn't trim anything, side-to-side. I talked to a tech @ Harwood, they did mention extra material but they didn't say an extra inch. I actually have a larger gap on my passenger side opposed to my driver side which lines up perfect. No matter how much I tried to shim & adjust the hinges left/right, this is the best I could do.
As for the front goes, I had the same situation where I had a good 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch gap between hood & nose cone. I brought the latch down as far as it would but it still had a gap. I bored out the screw slots to allow it to go further down and when I closed the hood, it decreased the gap quite a bit. I got it to a likeable position, so I left it alone. NOT perfect, but its good. I hope that helps ya.
hey man, your first video doesnt work but the second one does. The car looks great though. Love that hood! Good luck!
Thanks, I deleted it cuz it was taken at night time, hoping it would turn out. It wasn't very clear, so I took another one during the day. See post 33, which i'm sure you saw already.
