1982 z-28

I have had this 82z28 for over 10 years. It was all stock when I bought it, and I have since replaced everything.
Engine:
300 HP Pat Musi 5.7L with rebuilt quadrajet from 80 Z28, edelbrock intake, cam, ported heads. New air conditioning compressor, converted to R12 blend. Accel distributor with adjustable advance. Chrome valve covers and air cleaner with 14" K&N filter. Chrome needs a good cleaning at this point, since the car gets driven less and less.
Exhaust:
Edelbrock headers, cat, cat back, all with lifetime warantee (needs R tailpipe which I will take care of with the warantee guy)
Trans:
rebuilt TH350 with shift kit and B&M megashifter on top
Rear:
rebuilt GM 3.42 posi with drums.

All get synthetic fluid. All with less than 15K miles on them.

Tires:
BFG Comp t/a with <10K on them, 15" IROC wheels

Body:
3" fiber cowl hood with locks. New front bumper cover, 89 IROC doors with power mirrors/locks/windows.
Interior: New carpet, new gauge cluster (110MPH), Delco AM/FM/CD player, good speakers all around, new upholstery -- blue custom with conteur seats (driver power with lumbar/wing adjustable). Console clock works. Needs trim assembly, back seat assembly. I have too many cars and just not the time.

Body:
Solid frame and floors. Power hatch works; passenger door could be aligned better, driver's is perfect. Ttops got brand new GM seals a few years back, no leaks.
Needs paint, all panels faded, all ground effects are there or included with the car. Have brand new blue Z28 rocker and bumper emblems. Tons of spare parts, books, manuals (assembly, parts), brochures.

The car needs NOTHING mechanically, and is straight. I would paint it and put bigger tires on the back if I were going to keep it. $10K into it, and I have all receipts from the past 10 years. Passed NJ inspection in current configuration in 2004, has not been driven regularly since then, but started and driven here and there, fluids kept impeccably fresh.

Looking for $3000

Re: 1982 z-28

Bump. I'm going to send this out for paint, then it's going to be 2x as much money. A great deal at this point, and you can pick your color. Otherwise, I'm going silver.
