[MO] '83 Z28 with 5 speed and 350. Lots of new parts, $3000 - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Located in Columbia MO. Price: $3,000.

This is an '83 Z28 factory 5 speed car. It has been updated with a world class T5, hydraulic clutch setup (from the factory it was a mechanical linkage), and a 350 engine. It has t-tops, IROC wheels, and average, stock interior (has cracked dash pad and console lid...some sun fading).

I consider it a rolling project. It is in need of some minor bodywork (no crash damage, just a couple dents) and paint (has faded original metallic blue).

New or recent parts include: Radiator, battery, Dynomax exhaust, catalytic converter, Kumho tires on IROC wheels, and the list goes on.

It was my daily driver in college. I blew a head gasket in the 305 and let it sit for a long time. I've thrown a lot of parts at it over the past couple of years getting it running again.

Now priorities have changed, and I'm ready to let it move on.

If you think the price seems high, factor in the WC T5 and new tires and many of the valuable parts on this car (the factory fiberglass hood, for example) and it might not seem so bad.

I'd be interested for trades. A '78 or up Malibu, Cutlass, or Regal; a shortbed Chevy truck...things like that.
