1987 YELLOW IROC-Z L98

Car is located in Gassville, AR 72635 Car is currently partially disassembled but can be made into a roller fairly quickly. I will email pics to serious interested people. Please dont waste my time.

Original Factory Yellow Car, 350 TPI, 700R4, Rear disc brake rearend, T-tops, factory leather loaded

Car has been sitting for years original drivetrain was robbed years ago, Interior was gutted

I have a Auto check and the car is clean, I do NOT have a title car is from Georgia and cars older than 15 years do not have titles, However I have all the paperwork from the previous owner and It should not be a problem to obtain one

Car is disassembled but can be made into a roller fairly easily

This is a project car, You cannot drive it home, It needs a restoration

If it doesnt sell it will sleep in my shop for a few years until I can get around to restoring it myself

Excellent used parts include 1-5 were taken off a car and were only used for a week before being totalled out

1 KYB Rear adjustable shocks
2 KYB front adjustable struts
3 Earls stainless brake lines "these replace the rubber lines"
4 Front drilled and slotted rotors
5 rebuilt front calipers

T-top seals that look new
Rear hatch seal that looks new
2 sets of T-tops one set has a new set of outer seals on them
Excellent IROC hood with louvers
restored lightbar with new headlights

Body Condition

Body is in excellent condition, No rust issues, never wrecked. Doors open and close excellent and do not sag. Glass is excellent but windhield is gone. Only issues that need to be addressed is on the rear hump the yoke of the rearend rubbed through and it will need to be welded up. The battery box is rusty but I have a rust free one off a donor car. Fenders do have dents but I have 3-4 pairs of fenders you can rummage through. Original hood is damaged but as mentioned above I have a excellent hood that goes with it. Front nose and rear bumper cover are in excellent condition

Drive Train

Engine is from a 1989 GTA its a L98 Block with heads I have all the front accesories, etc It will need to be rebuilt. I have a nice complete TPI setup removed from a 1988 GTA. I also have the original engine wiring harness and computer

Transmission is from a 1991 Camaro RS 700R4 it has been rebuilt and shifts and functions like new

Rearend is from a 1988 GTA its a Disc Brake Posi gear ratio unknown but its from a L98 Car as well

I also have a GM Aluminum Driveshaft

Interior

Original interior was tan, Its all been removed from a previous owner. I have been gathering up interior pieces and was going to put black in place. I have from the rear armrest and back in black, I also have a complete set of Gray, as with a used gray carpet. Car has a overhead console but flashlight is missing.

I have a set of charcoal Leather seats removed from a 1994 Trans Am, The drivers seat is very nice, Passenger has had some stiching come undone, The rear buns are excellent, and the rear back piece will need some work done on the top as it has some sun damage

Also included is a nice complete set of Charcoal seatbelts also removed from a 1994 Trans Am

I have located a very nice center console everything is like new with the exception of the shifter plate it is very usable but does have some cigarette burns, I have also located a very nice used leather shift handle.

Sunvisors I have will need to be recoverd, I do not have door panels

Car does have a RARE 160 MPH factory speedo

Dash is nice, Top dash pad does need to be replaced, Steering wheel needs to be restored

Wheels

I have the four stock GM IROC wheels. The two fronts have been restored, the two rears have been started but not finished. I have two cans of the correct color gold for repainting the wheels

bump for a Nice project for someone to restore. Kinda wish I woulda keep the car buy I love my vert now that its almost done.
