86 Z tpi 383 VA $3000

Hey guys and gals. I'm sellin my 86 Z. I live in Marshall VA 20115, A small town and just moved here. I am willing to travel, but dont screw around; I will not take less than 3 grand for my car.
It's got a fresh 383 with Dart aluminum heads and is backed up by a tci street fighter good for like 450 or 500 horses. TPIS, for those of you who dont know specialize in TPI's and have done so since the 80's. They basically designed the LT1 and sold it to GM. They helped me do the whole setup for my engine.
Brand new exhaust, and Hedman HTC coated headers. It sounds awesome now. I had heard horror stories of headers rusting and even been witness to it, but surprisingly these are keeping their coat and not flaking or rusting at all.
Lots more -pm me.
I do not have the means to work on my car here as I live w/ family and we are renting until house sells in Oh.
Just for a heads up I was scheduled for a trip to FL but the camaro is having some kind of spark or fuel issue and like I said I do not have any way to fix it. It's probably an easy fix and it still runs fine.
Chamelion paint is probably salvagable if anyone was wondering. Just needs to be buffed and re-cleared and luovers removed and a little more spray on them.
Thx for lookin

Re: 86 Z tpi 383 VA $3000

Yeah its a monster drivetrain. Its a stumppuller for sure. On tpis's website they rate the motor with their miniram tpi intake and its pretty far up there. Plus my motor has their torque secrets cam grand in it which maximizes the torque band, so this setup is optimal with a tpis miniram; there is no substitue.
Long story short, I need to get through school; I already sold my 2004 z71 back in like may or june... so let me know.

Re: 86 Z tpi 383 VA $3000

Sorry, I thought I attached them in the original post.
T-top, sub-frame connectors, TCI 700 r4 is a lockup, TCI Sat Night Special 2000 stall, 3.27 in a nine bolt, posi, 4 wheel disc, new t-top weather stripping and t-top bow(but the bow still needs to be installed), PW work, PL do not really work but you could get them working, hatch pull down works.

This car has come a long way and its almost done, just need a few odds and ends plus body work and it will be a very nice driver.

...ok so I am looking for an attach image icon and i do not see one. bear with for a sec

Re: 86 Z tpi 383 VA $3000

I drove it down to FL. I figured out what the issue was with the fuel. My fuel pump was dying and causing the car to over heat...weird. Should be up and running after the new pump gets here
If I can find a job quickly I will not be selling it anymore but if I cannot I will still sell it.

I'm in NY but would probably be interested in the car if you make it back up north before the weather turns nasty. Think I could get some pics sent to wcs13@aol.com?
