For Sale 1991 Camaro Z28 w/ 81,000 miles.
I just bought this car in February, and intended to keep for the foreseeable future, however I have decided that with all the incentives available, it’s time to buy a house. It’s a very nice car, and took me better than a year to find one in this condition. Before me the car was owned by a collector who also had a 69 SS, and a 02 Z28. It was lady owned before that, and has been well taken care of. According to the carfax approx 50,000 miles were put on in the first 3 years, after that it appears to be a summer driver. Car runs and drives great, I took it to Louisville last weekend, and averaged just over 20mpg with the tops off and some spirited driving through the backroads on the way to the Makers Mark distillery.
Exterior:
-Red
-95% original paint, it appears the nose has been repainted and blended into the passenger front fender.
-Minimal rust, some surface rust beginning to appear on the rear quarter lips from rock chips. I have only driven it in nice weather, so it was not a concern to me.
-Some rock chips, but overall in very good condition for 17 years old.
-no dents or dings.
Interior:
-In short, the interior is flawless. The dash is perfect, seats show no wear and are not stained. Carpet is clean.
-Has factory floor mats
-Window tint.
-All buttons/ switches work. Factory stereo works, and I installed pioneer 6x9’s.
-Has rear cargo shade.
-T-tops do not leak.
Drivetrain:
This car is 100% original, and has never been modified. It is near show quality underhood.
-Only replacement parts are the alternator (I replaced due to the bearings going bad) and it has a new stock replacement exhaust system.
-Still has the factory exhaust manifolds, emissions setup, ect.
-Does not leak, smoke, or make weird noises.
-Rims are in nice condition, and have been painted black by a previous owner.
-tires are 65-75%
Needs:
-A/C needs recharged. It does blow cold, but not on very hot days. I will include 2 cans of R12 (yes, R12!) in the sale.
-Window tint on rear window is beginning to peel on the top.
Car looks exactly the same. I can get updated pictures, or any other pictures if someone is interested.
-For an Extra $1,000 I have a 97 T-56 and bellhousing, with hurst shifter.
-For an extra $2,000 I have a 15,000 mile GM 330 H.O. crate motor with all accessories, edelbrock air gap intake, and holley 750 carb.
