ok someone needs to save this car from me. I have too many thirdgens, and part out alot, and simply have no room for this car. Its a 86 iroc lb9 auto, 3.23 aluminum drum hardtop car. As far as i know the only mods are the emissions headers and y-pipe, and flowmaster muffler. The exhaust needs to be connected to the y pipe. The car does run (has a miss) and drive. The brakes on it need attention. I would recommend trailering it of course. The car still has the silver iroc wheels and is blue in color, it has a little rust on the lips of the rear quarters, and the nose cone/chin spoiler need to be replaced/fixed. the RF fender has a dent in it, other than that, repaint the car (peeling on the roof, nice gm paint setup) and it would be a decent car. The cars interior is ok, needs a thorough cleaning, but none of the seats are torn. It will need a headliner. It has a digital dash cluster which wasnt factory, and a perfect dash pad comes with the car which is a plus. It would be a perfect car for someone looking to fix up and drive/restore/race... etc... I simply dont have the time to do anything with it, and would like to see it go to a home because these cars will someday be very rare and ive crushed alot of thirdgens in the past year.

I want $1600 for it. Really a cheap price for a complete iroc IMO because if i stripped the car like ive done all the other 3rd gens ive had and parted out, id get probably at least that out of it. Car is located in indianapolis indiana, and have a clear title. If no interest i will let it meet its maker and strip the car.

Also i have most of all the pieces to fix the car if someone is looking to restore or just fix its issues like body panels and all that can be bought at an additional cost.

i will also sell the car minus the drivetrain, wheels, tires, and digital dash/dashpad for $400. Clean title and would have all seats, interior panels, and outside panels.

I like the digital dash but I would hate to see a iroc torn apart, especially since I saw 3 at the local dealers (not all IROCs but 3rd generation Z's not to mention quite a few 4th gen also) with "Clunker" wrote on the windshield. Wonder how many will be crushed because of this Government deal?

wow thats too good of a car to part out, someone offer him $1000 for it already!

that digital dash is interesting, I've never seen one like that before. obviously it is aftermarket, what is needed to install that into another car?

im not sure what the cluster is, i know that it does work and nothing looks like its hacked... it still retains the stock bezel from what i can see. somebody glued the wood grain over top of hte stock bezel.

I can keep the iroc wheels and tires and id damn near let the car go for that... lol I NEED IT GONE!

car runs and drives!

in the past few days ive installed a spoiler, replaced the taillight, cargo cover, hatch shocks, new fuel pump and replaced the rusted looking gas tank with a newer one!

this car needs a home!

if my son and I werent already restoring the 89 RS we have now I would love to have this one for him to drive and you can't beat the price for a IROC I just can't squeeze enough numbers out of the budget because of this project to be able to afford it right now

if i diddnt have two id probably take on the car myself, i simply dont have room. id like to see something get made out of the car
