Car: 1983 Z28 Engine: 6.6L 406 Transmission: T-56 | 1983 Z28 with 91-92 Z28 body I am selling my 1983 Z28. It was originally a Cross-Fire car but that is all long gone. It has all 91-92 Z28 GFX and wing. The dash is still the old style but a full auto meter instrumentation has been installed. It also has an SS hood on it. The car needs paint but all body panels are dent and rust free and line up pretty good. Might need a minor tweak here or there. Car has NO RUST. So ehre are the mods:
Motor:
406ci
Scat Crank
GM "pink" rods
Speed Pro forged pistons
AFR 195cc Heads (old style)
242/248 @ .050 solid roller Comp Cam .571.577 110 LSA
Edelbrock Victor Jr. Intake
Holley 800 cfm double pumper
Hooker LT's w/ custom Y-pipe
Trans:
96 T-56
Spec Stage 3 clutch
Hurst short throw shifter
Rear:
Strange 12-bolt for a 4th gen(I did this for rim fitment and because the car has LT1 rear brakes)
4:10 gears
33 spline axles
C-clip eliminators
Girdle
Suspension:
All suspension parts are Spohn
LCA's
SFC's
Panhard rod
Front and Rear sway bars
Torque Arm
New 91-92 Z28 coil springs
Misc:
New gas tank, fuel lines, front end, 4th gen cloth seats, T-tops, GM serpentine belt system there's so much done its too much to list
The car before the single plane intake and any tuning at all. I just took everything out of the box and slapped it on til the car ran good enough to drive to the track. It ran a 12.2 @116 on a 1.9 60'. It feels much stronger now with the new intake and tuned up.
I will post pics later upon request
