Re: 1983 CFI Z-28

Just got back from Ocean city (571miles) including crusing and going to rehoboth to eat, ran like a champ...the new T tops dont leak a drop i converted the T tops to the pin style instead of the latch style and am getting a very nice and tight seal with them, the black bag for the t tops is at the shop now getting a new zipper and felts

I have my eye on something and would love to get rid of this ASAP feel free to shoot me offers here or at Klipmotorsports@yahoo.com

Re: 1983 CFI Z-28

i think the black on the carpet is from the previous owners sad attempt at paint, at either rate it doesnt rub off nor is it horridly noticeable. and i was just going to replace it with black carpet to match the charcoal/darkblue interior

Re: 1983 Z28 Crossfire 95k original miles

Just got all new rubber in the roof except one seal and have stripped the rear interior for some TLC, I also have a fresh valve train about to be installed and new plugs/wires/dist/rotor/cap hence the small price increase.

But no was in OC, MD lol...where is home for you ? i could definately arrange a showing of the car.

At the moment i do know it needs new oil pan gasket and a new drain plug which i will do next week, after these couple of things get finished i wont be really doing anything else to it as something else has caught my eye.

Re: 1983 Z28 Crossfire 95k original miles

Haven't messed with the gasket yet just got done cleaning out the ac system going to
Tear down the ac components and make sure everything is in working order
As well going to clean up some more

Has a little bit bigger inkextors over stock and advanced the timing just a tad
No knocks or detonation and it runs like a scalded dog

Will update the oil situation in the next couple days

Re: 1983 Z28 Crossfire 95k original miles

if someone is trying to get into a v8 from a v6 or L4 I would be more then willing to talk trades, cash speaks wonders am flexible on price to be completely perfect the car needs

Oil pan and seal (I have)
exhaust tail pipes hung and a muffler added (have tail pipes currently running a glasspack with a turndown)
and a little plastic retainer clip for the pin style locking t top (2-3$...I converted the car to pin style t tops w/locks)

the eletric locks are kinda iffy, they work but the switch moves a bit in the door which makes it tricky the door panels are in great shape and should be removed and tighten right up (the switch)

paint (isnt bad at all but its not a show job)

driver fender (was gonna do fiberglass fronts)
email Bflee87@gmail.com or pm me, dont be shy

-brad

will include all the parts and the locking rain-x car cover and odds and ends i have for it - if the price is right i will also include my scat 383 crank 350 shortblock and other toys

oh - car also has 4 newer speakers and mp3/aux/cd/am/fm head unit installed

and new front end has approx. 900 miles on it and fresh oil change this week!
