It has been my daily driver for 16 months now. I drove it for 20000miles with a big smile on my face.
It is 1989 IROC-Z with according to carfax around 183000 miles to the chassis.
The engine has been swapped for a crate engine before I bought it. It is a 350TPI. The AC system is with the up to date gas. The engine does not overheat. It will stand on traffic on a 100F day with full AC around 230F. Average day around 190F. A lot of components around the engine are new (distributors, cables, battery ).
The transmission has been rebuilt when the engine has been changed. It is a 4speed auto.
The diff is a Borg Warner. Four disc brakes, rear discs are new. Front caliper pads are not old. Wheels are the classic 16inches camaro wheels.
The car is lowered using SLP shocks and Eibach Springs.
Tires are 4 new Yokohama.
Classic options included are power windows, power mirrors, tilt steering. I don t have the original tape player. There is alpine CD/MP3 system instead. Front speakers are new pioneers.
Interior is grey cloth, with electric driver seat. This seat is not in perfect state but not so bad with the cover. I just achieved to build a new RH interior door panel. It is looking real good in my opinion. I have got the LH materials just need the faith to finish it. I also have the original door panel if you want it. All weather striping seals have been replaced except the trunk which I just checked. I removed the headliner. I still have it. But in my opinion the car deserve a new one. The trunk mechanism is working (I did the rebuild).
The car is black, the paint is not perfect on some areas. Front bumper is in ok shape but the paint is not good. Rear bumper is color faded.
I am asking $4500. I am willing to negotiate and will take the best offer by the end of October.

My plan was to sell the camaro to comeback without a bunch of expensive and painfull paperwork to france.
I am car freak and I love the 78 vette. Even my wife loves it. So yes I will consider what you have, but if there is a bunch of work to do on it, it will be hard.
