I have a 83 Z-28 I need to get rid of. I bought it with the intentions of fixing it up but life is getting in the way. (money) Lets start with the bad, the body is rough, very rough. It needs most of the sheetmetal. It will need front fenders and rear quarters. The doors are not good either but I have a firebird parts car that has good doors. The firebird comes with it. It has a bent spindle on the left front. The firebird has that as well. The hood is darn near perfect. (it's fiberglass, looks factory to me) Its a t-top car. 305 with a 4 barrel carb, automatic, (4 speed auto) all the ground effects are there and seem to be usable. It has a CD player. The t-top bags are in the back. The interior is ok, not perfect, but not trashed either. It has the red seats that say camaro on them. I read somewhere here that they are kinda rare. The only problem with the seats is the drivers left bolster needs repair. It does run good, I have test driven it, trans shifts fine doesnt slip. I wouldn't take it on the highway till the spindle is fixed, but it can be driven. I have checked and repro front fenders are under 60.00 each. The rear quarters are 150 each. I was going to do this myself, but my wirefeed welder died and I cant afford a new one for a long time. I also cant afford the paint tools that I need either so I think it would be best to sell the car since I won't be able to give it the love it deserves. It also has the 15 inch alum. Z-28 rims with it. It also has a posi rear end. (I know that cause of course I tried a burnout, and it did it with ease)
I am really looking to just sell the car (and parts car) because I have it at my work and I need to move it before it snows. I am not really interested in parting it out unless I get enough people commited to take enough parts to pay for the car. I need to get 900.00 for the works (car and parts car) Thats what I paid, and I think its fair, I might be a little flexable, but not a whole lot. I would be interested in trades for a chevy pickup, but I don't have much money to give for extra to boot. I would also be interested in a small pull camper or a bowflex, or tools (wirefeed welder)
900.00 OBO
Thanks for looking
