| 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc-Z -$4000 - Only 33k on New 5.7 Engine
How's it going. I have a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc-Z for sale. The car has 168,xxx on the body however a brand new 5.7L 350 was installed by the previous owner and has about 33k on it. The car has a yellow exterior and is automatic. Overall the car is in great shape and runs great. The motor is powerful and the car is quick. Tons of torque in this car. The exhaust has no cats, resonators, or mufflers... so it is loud.. I just installed a bunch of parts less than 1,000 miles ago. This was supposed to be a project of sorts and I was going to turn it into the ultimate show muscle car but I have other plans so I am looking to sell... The parts that were just installed less than 1,000 miles ago include the following:
Exterior Mods:
- Tinted windows all around
- Yellow underbody lights - as of current the driver side tube broke and will need replacing
- HID headlights w/ euro housings
Suspension Mods:
- Brand New OEM size Moog Springs - Front and Rear
- KYB Shocks and Struts all around
- Front and Rear Sway Bars
- Strut Tower Brace
- Brand New Tires all around
- New brake pads all around
- Brake lines were upgraded
Engine Mods:
- Holley Throttle Body
- K&N filters
- Edelbrock Hi-Flo Runners
- Edelbrock Hi-Flo Intake Manifold Baseplate
- Brand New spark plugs
- Brand New distributor cap
- Brand New spark plug wires
- BBK Adjustable Fuel Regulator - purchased and included but never installed
- MAC Headers
Interior Mods:
- Pioneer CD Headunit w/ Ipod Hookup that comes out through the ashtray
- Pioneer Dash Speakers
- Infinity Rear Speakers
- 2 - 12' Directed Audio Subwoofers in car specific sub box
- Directed Audio Subwoofer Amp
- Alpine Amp to run dash and rear speakers
- Capacitor
- Streetglow yellow neons by all passengers feet
- Alarm system was installed on the vehicle.
Ok.. Now there are some minor issues with the car but nothing major.. The only issues with the car are:
- small rust spots above the rear wheel area - very minor
- small crack in the front lip
- also there are some minor chips around the car.. but then again the car is 23 years old so for its age it is in great condition
- when starting the car it takes about 5 seconds to turn over.. not sure what is causing this but i am leaning towards a leaking fuel injector.. i am going to try and have this fixed before the auction ends but as stated its not really an issue.. the car always starts it just a hard start..
- also the car does not have the A/c hooked up.. The previous owner removed it for performance reasons.. you still have the vent option to circulate air in the car but just not a/c... wasnt a big deal because most the time i had the t-tops off anyway...
- last issue is the driver door hangs a little low causing it to scrape the door sill.. i believe the shop i go to ordered the door hinge kit to fix the issue.. i will have to check to see if it came in...

As you can see alot was put into the car recently so you are saving money by not having to upgrade a lot of stuff...
