Built 355, 89 Camaro RS 5speed
1989 Camaro RS 5 speed. It is an original 5 speed V8 vehicle which is pretty rare.
Has a built 355 ci 4-bolt main block: TRW forged pistons, SpeedPro Plasma-Moly rings, GM forged rods, Comp Cams Performance Flat-tappet Hydraulic Cam (.480 lift), Comp Cams High Rev lifters, SpeedPro Performance pushrods, Cloyes double roller timing chain and gears, Clevite Rod, main and cam bearings, Melling High-Volume Oil Pump, Oil Pick-up, and hardened pump drive shaft, Comp Cams LT-1 type valve springs and keepers, Fel-Pro Performance Series Gaskets, and a deep pan Moroso Oil pan. Has Vortec Heads and Speed Demon 750 carb, and a high torque mini-starter. MSD 6AL ignition and MSD Pro Billet distributor with vacuum advance. Full Painless wiring harness.
Exhaust: Ceramic coated headers and new full exhaust (with cats) passed GA emissions on 3/2/12.
Driveline: Rebuilt T5 5spd with upgraded internals, Centerforce Dual friction clutch, IROC aluminum driveshaft, Z28 rear end with 3:73 gear and limited slip.
Suspension upgrades include: Wonder bar front brace, Hotchkis rear adjustable track bar, Hellwig front and rear sway bars, poly sway bar bushings front and rear, brand new rear Hotchkis lower control arms, brand new KYB gas front struts and strut mounts and rear KYB gas shocks. Stocks springs cut front and rear. 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear polished Centerline rims offset correctly to fit the car. Lakewood bolt in sub-frame connectors.
Interior: Corbeau bucket seats and 4 point harnesses. Custom dash panel with Autometer Phantom gauges; 0-10,000 rpm 5" tach, 0-200 5" speedo, the fuel, volt, and temp gauges are 2 1/16" gauges. A PERFECT DASH and center console! This car does not have heat or air, does have a radio. This car is meant as a hotrod and could be drag raced or as I planned for road racing. The body is near perfect, no dings or dents, no rust, and just needs to be painted.
I love the car, but another project is brewing and I could use the room. I have only had the car a little over a month, but the wife says it has to go...too loud, too fast. Only issues with the car: no rear seats or rear carpet= no sound deadening for the 3.73 gears, speedometer is a little off due to the 3.73 gears (easy fix, speedo gear for the 3.73 upgrade is about $9).
Price is $5200 or best offer. I will consider trades, but it's not likely. Absolutely NO joyrides, serious buyers only. This car is VERY fast and is dangerous to inexperienced drivers.

PRICE REDUCTION....price is $4600 firm now... nothing has changed with the car, but that is the least ill take, so its easier to post it than to haggle with peope

Is this a 5 speed auto or manual? Does it have 4 wheel disc brakes. How well does the car run right now? Could you post some more pictures of the body and interior, or email them to khuffman286@gmail.com
