Re: '92 Z28-Heritage Edition-5.7 T.P.I-Auto-Hardtop-Purple Haze Metalic-$5500
I purchased the car in 2005 with a knocking rod on number 5 & 8 cylinders and the car had 94,000 miles on it. I spent a year rebuilding the engine with a new crank, cam and bearings. Cylinders were honed and pistons bead-blasted and re-used.
Car currently has ~112,000 miles on it and I drive it daily. I don't have any history on the transmission but it shifts good and performs as expected.
Vehicle history report says that I am the 7th owner and that the car was in a accident in the mid 90's. Upon inspection, all the damage incurred appears to have been in the front drivers quarter panel.

It's not a Heritage edition car, but it is a very rare color, and appears to be a very nice car.
I have been keeping my eyes open for something special to make a daily driver out of, and I wish I was in a little better spot to be able to take this off yours hands.
Your price is totally fair BTW

The heritage package is an appearance package that consists of stripes, and a badge at the drivers rear deck lid, but most importantly it has to have the RPO code Z03 (heritage package), which yours does not. Your car is still very rare just for the color of the paint

Actually The purple haze was one of the more popular colors. I have a 92 rs and thought the same thing until I did a little research and found out that the purple was not that rare.

I was not trying to low ball with the $3500 offer. It is just what I can spend at the moment. And you do not know what someone is willing to take unless you make an offer. Do you walk on a car lot and pay sticker price?

You can say what you want but I have owned many third gen's and after looking over all of the photos and reading the description I feel that my offer of $3500 is fair. The car is a nice starting point but does need some work on the exterior and some small interior pieces look to be missing. You can say what you want but I know the value of these cars and the expense of restoring them.

I think 4 g's is a good price considering it needs body, paint & interior work. It looks to have all the right options & if i had the extra funds id ****** it up at $4000. GLWS !
