Re: 1985 Iroc for sale!!! Must see!!!

Nice car but overpriced man, i know its hard being the seller to lose money on a car but you can buy a nice 4th gen or GTO for that price

Re: 1985 Iroc for sale!!! Must see!!!

fully restored? does that include the dirty looking seats? Was the pic taken before or after the restoration. Also, a restoration, to me, would mean restoring to original. The '85 Iroc's did not come with the 350. Also, I cant see the complete suspension for the thirdgen costing $7000. Can you give a break down?

Re: 1985 Iroc for sale!!! Must see!!!

Ok, maybe restored was the wrong term to use. No, the seats are not dirty. It's the way the fabric is. If you rub it in 1 direction it looks darker, rub it the other direction its lighter. It has KYB 3 way adjustable shocks and struts, Eibach springs (lowered 1 1/2 inch) all new suspension bushings from Prothane, BMR fully adjust able torque arm, BMR welded in subframe connectors, BMR Trailing arms, UMI sway bars, UMI steering brace, UMI fully adjustable Panhard bar, BMR strut tower brace, Cross drilled and slotted brake rotors, braided stainless steel brake lines, New calipers and pads, The engine is a corvette 350 Tune Port Injected, New Bosch fuel injectors, air foil, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Flow tech ceramic coated headers, Flowmaster exhaust system, Full Mallory ignition system, It has a brand new gas tank, brand new 255gph Walbro fuel pump system, 4 core alum radiator, Interior is brand new other than the seats. The stereo is a Sony xplode cd player, with pioneer speakers. All of the interior plastics fully restored, All weather stripping is brand new, paint job is less than 1 1/2 years old, 3 coats of base coat jet black, 5 coats of clear, wet sanded and buffed to a mirror shine. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza 960 AS Pole Posistions they have approx 1000 miles on them. The car runs flawlessly!!! It drives and handles like its on rails. The only reason why I put it up for sale, is I really want a C5 Corvette, and I don't have room for both. I decided, that if it doesn't sell I would just keep it and install 3.73 gears in it, a B&M Mega shifter, and a 4inch alum drive shaft. (all parts I have that I just haven't installed yet) Basicly when I bought this car I wanted to build a bad *** 3rd gen camaro for the street that could take on any curvy road you threw at it, and look good in the processes. I completed my goal and love the car!!!

Re: 1985 Iroc for sale!!! Must see!!!

Problem is to us are cars are worth more than what we put in. to anyone else or even a kelly blue book, they are not worth anything. Thing is that i would spend, if i had it 15-20 grand on a car like Spike-z. He is on this site and here is his build link http://www.cardomain.com/ride/243247...vrolet-camaro/

PROBLEM with 15-20 grand for that car is that he prob has WAY more into it...

Re: 1985 Iroc for sale!!! Must see!!!

I'm so sick and tired of seeing (usually the same) people posting on for-sale threads bashing the owner saying they're asking too much money.

If you want to buy the car, make an offer.

If you aren't interested in the car - DON'T POST!

Same here! Seriously... if you don't like it or the price, move along... It has cluttered the B/S forum lately...

Re: 1985 Iroc for sale!!! Must see!!!

Judging a car's value based on what different models are available is just plain stupid. Just because you can buy a 4th gen for the same amount has nothing at all to do with whether a third gen is worth that amount. The only real benchmark of comparison is sale prices on similar thirdgens.

I was merely pointing out that the mileage was missing. That's a pretty big selling point! Maybe he's got really low miles, he would want to point that out. It could mean a sale. No judgment on the price, glws
