I just don't have the time to finish this 1987 Iroc Z convertible. This is 1 of only 744 Iroc Z convertibles. Hard to find and not for sale too often. The car is a original rust free texas car. Was a 305 TBI car with a 700 r4 trans. The engine is gone. The trans was rebuilt. The complete chassis and underside of the car is completed. Underside was cleaned and por 15 painted. Rearend has new bearings, seals, brakes, KYB shocks. All rear control arms have new bushings, and painted black. front end has new aframe bushings, ball joints,tie rods, idol arm, KYB struts. steel subframe and parts were all painted por 15 also. Car was taken to body shop where they completely painted the engine bay, radiator support and all parts the factory dark red metallic. Looks great! I have a 87 350 TPI engine from a wrecked Iroc Z that ran great with 68,000 miles that will go with the car. The convertible top is new. Interior is leather. Iroc wheels are real nice.Car needs to be painted, needs new seat covers and carpet. Everything for the car is there for the car. If someone wants to finish this car you will have one of the rarest Iroc Z convertibles made. If you don't want the motor I will keep it. Asking $4900 with engine or $4500 without engine. Bump I thought I had it sold to a buyer here in Wisconsin. I hope that he is able to buy the car. But he is not able to purchase the car right now. Spring is here, back up for sale.
