84, Z-28 Partially Restored

1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (partially restores) $2,500.00: I started restoring this car in April of 2009 and the next step is to paint the body. From the ground up I have replaced the tires, brakes, shocks and struts, had the stock engine and transmission rebuilt, installed matte black and red Chevrolet valve and timing chain covers, installed new plug wires and distributor, installed new windshield washer fluid and coolant overflow tanks and rebuilt the Edelbrock carburetor. I cleaned up the body including replacing the door hinges and replacing the passenger side door, the car is pretty close to painting with only small dings on the passenger side door and final sanding left. I also have Candy Apple Red Metallic and non metallic Black paint and clear coat that will go with the car. I have all new weather-stripping for the doors, hatchback and T-tops. New (undamaged used) tail light assemblies and emblems also come with the car.
What’s left to do: I started it up and drove it in and out of the garage but since I am not a mechanic my next step would be to take it to a good mechanic and have him do a once over and tune the engine. I would also get it aligned. Then I would paint the car and have a new windshield (not provided) installed. I have the seats and center console with a new (undamaged used) glove box cover. You will need seat covers and all the other interior pieces including a stereo. I hate to get rid of this but I had back surgery and can no longer work on it. I have the receipts for close to $7,000.00 worth of parts.

hate to see you sell after all that work, after you heal up wouldn't you be able to work on it then?

Long story, short, bone loss, lots of medal installed, mostly healed. Probably won't be doing this type work again. Fortunately I'm able to get back to work and make a decent living. Sad to see it go but I have to, therefore what I think is a pretty reasonable price.
