Car: 1989 Chevorolet Iroc-z convertible
Engine: 383, holley terminator efi
Transmission: T-56
Axle/Gears: stock 10 bolt w/ 3.73
89' Iroc-z Convertible, 383, T-56 6 speed

This was my first car and I got it when I was 13. Old enough to be trusted with a wrench and enough time to be able to restore it to drive. Fast forward 8 years and this is where it current stands. Its been a long and very expensive 8 years but an enjoyable one at that. I'm finishing college and before I get to break-in the car and enjoy her life takes priority. Also the car only has roughly 400 miles on the rebuild and about 60 on the transmission. Also it will come with the car cover pictured which is the California car cover SuperWeave ($500) that is super water resistant, and is custom embroidered with "89' Iroc-z" Also the car has been garage kept since I purchased it up until last month. Since then its been stored under the car cover in our driveway.

List of some of the mods:

Engine:
bored out to 383
All forged internals
10.5:1 compression
Summit racing heads
Edelbrock torquer II intake
Shorty headers
.488 lift cam
Holley 770 street Avenger (currently rebuilding)

Exhaust:
Custom made 3" with cat from a local shop with a flowmaster 40 muffler.

T-56 transmission
Rebuilt by Tick Performance 50 miles on it
with competition clutch

Suspension
All new spohn steering components, bushings, ball joints
KYB shocks all the way around
New front rotor/hubs/calipers/bearings, Calipers painted red
Ls1 rear discs with all new calipers/discs/emergency brake components
Alston subframe connectors welded
UMI subframe connectors welded
Founders Performance Lower Control Arms and Relocation Brackets
Adjustable Panhard Bar

rear end
Just installed 3.73 gears, all new bearings and seals through out, and installed the ls1 rear brakes with new parking brake rebuild kit.

Interior
Dakota Digital VHX gauges Red (Beautiful)
New Recovered Trans am Leather Air Bladder Seats, 4th gen.
New Black carpet
New Black Leather door panel with new locks indicators plastics
Boston Acoustics 4x6 under dash, Pioneer 6.5' rounds rear panels
Rear convertible panels were recovered by local shop with black leather and carpet to match door panels.
Boston Acoustics 12" sub woofer with amp in trunk.
Leather wrapped lower center console (I did that)
Replaced window motors and drivers side window
There is just to much to list

Exterior
New hood louvers-Plasti dipped
Plasti dipped center section of grill
Diamond Clear turn signals and side markers
New Sylvannia headlights
New to me IROC tail lights

Fuel System
-8an PTFE fuel hose, aeroquip connectors and such
2002 trans am plastic fuel tank
Racetronix fuel pump
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator

The paint job is still shiny, however the clear coat has the spider webbing look in direct sun. It has some over spray in the doors. There is a good scratch on the driver's side door by the Iroc-z logo. The front bottom lip has some scratches, was like that when I got it. Also the rear Iroc-z logo is gone. The front fender has a dent in it but is not really noticeable. I do not want to scare anyone away but I like to list everything possible because no one likes surprises. I try to be upfront and honest about everything.

Also the car is straight and has NO bondo anywhere on the car. All fenders/floors/pillars are RUST FREE! The only rust is on the bumper reinforcement. Look for the post where I show it. I just want no surprises.
I re-glued the rear corner of the top and fixed the radio.

Also engine runs great, the choke just needs to be tuned.
The A/C blower motor fan stopped working, . I haven't looked into it yet since I always have the top down.

the volt gauge reads 10v but the battery sees 14.4v.

So the pros
-383 stroker
-T-56 6 Speed fresh rebuild
-Fresh Rear end, 3.73 gears
-4 wheel disc brakes
-does not burn/leak oil
-leather seats/interior
-New interior
-New exterior stuff

I'm asking $14,000 or best offer.

Re: 89' Iroc-z Convertible, 383, T-56 6 speed

I took her out for a long cruise the other day and decided not to sell her. I'm going to just keep her and try to put as many miles on as I can.
