TPI IROC or Z28 hardtop, manual trans

I’m trying to find something that I can use as my daily driver. I live in southern California, so it needs to be able to pass California smog.

this one might go up for sale

This 91 Z28 is about 99% stock. Still has all the smog stuff for California 57,000+ original miles 305 5 spd etc... here's a few pictures + some info on the car

THIS IS A 1991 CAMARO Z 28. THIS IS A 1AY CUSTOM ORDER CAR. I BELIEVE IT TO BE EITHER AN EXECUTIVE ORDER CAR OR A SPECIAL DEALER ORDER. TO BEGIN WITH, IT HAS THE 1LE SCCA, CANADIAN PLAYER'S CIRCUIT RACING OPTIONS FROM THE FACTORY-LB9 ENGINE, 1LE CAM, BORG WARNER 5 SPEED, 145 MPH SPEEDOMETER, FACTORY OIL COOLER, DUAL CONVERTER PERFORMANCE EXHAUST, G92 3.42 REAR GEAR, ETC. IN ADDITION, THIS BEAUTY HAS EVERY AVAILABLE POWER AND COMFORT OPTION AVAILABLE. THIS CAR WAS MANUFACTURED 8/90. I HAVE A COMPLETE CAR FAX HISTORY ON THE CAR. IT WAS FIRST SOLD 4/24/91 AT A DEALER AUCTION WITH 5,534 MILES. THIS WOULD SEEM TO INDICATE THAT AFTER THE DEMO PERIOD, EITHER BY THE EXECUTIVE OR THE DEALER, IT WAS THEN SOLD. SINCE THAT PERIOD, IT HAS HAD 2 OWNERS-ONE UP TO 1999 AND ONE FROM 1999 TO PRESENT. THE FACTORY RADIO WAS REPLACED, BUT I HAVE THE ORIGINAL RADIO AND SPEAKERS

EXTERIOR: Original Bright Red exterior finish. Smooth, mirror gloss paint. I'm not going to deceive you and say it is perfect- the car was driven. There are a few stone chips on the nose- there is one small crack on the bottom right of the front air dam-there are some stone chips on the bottom rear quarters- otherwise the paint is excellent. Fit on all panels is excellent. Body side moldings. No T Tops because the 1LE cars did not have them.(body flex) All glass in excellent condition- the passenger door glass has 2 scratches. Ordered from the factory with the 17P Silver Mist Metallic aluminum 16" wheels. BF Goodrich Comp T/A P245/50R16 radial tires. Dual power sport mirrors. Color keyed door edge guards. Factory spoiler. Fog lamps.

DRIVETRAIN: Tuned Port Fuel Injected LB9 305 Cu.In. engine with 1LE cam. Engine is original and has never been out of the car. Engine bay is almost as clean as the day it left the factory-show quality. All items in engine bay are stock and original, with the exception of maintenance items such as battery, hoses, etc. MK6 5 Speed Borg Warner T10 with performance overdrive gear. G92 3.42 Performance Limited Slip Axle. FE2 Ride Handling Suspension. N10 Dual Converter Performance Exhaust. The exhaust is original from heads past converters. The tailpipes and muffler are new. KC4 Engine Oil Cooler. J41 Front Disc/Rear Drum Brakes. Many of these came with 4 wheel disc. However, if you research the 1LE sites, there were also production periods in which 4 wheel disc was deleted and a $287 credit was given. The floors and chassis are clean and rust free. As stated, this car has never seen snow and has not seen rain since 1999. It has always been stored in winters.

INTERIOR: All original factory black custom cloth interior. Interior is pristine. Seats, cushions, headliner, door panels, carpet, dash, console all in excellent condition. Slight wear on leather shift knob. Leather wrapped steering wheel in excellent condition. Weatherstripping in excellent condition. Previous owner stored the car with the doors slightly ajar to preserve the integrity of the weatherstripping. There is a nice Alpine AM/FM/CD in the dash, but the original radio and speakers go with the car. Six way power driver's seat. Full restraint system with airbag. Split folding rear seat. Power windows and door locks. Power rear hatch release and electric close mechanism.. Carpeted front and rear floor mats. Air conditioning-AC works and is hooked up, but needs an R12 recharge. Rear view mirror with dual reading lamps. Twin electric remote mirrors. Rear cargo compartment cover.Tilt wheel and cruise control. Factory 1LE 145 MPH speedometer with tach and guages. Rear window defogger.

Check the Southern California and West Coast boards here. There are people selling their cars there.
