WTB Iroc/Z-28/RS in Michigan - kids first car

Helping out my single Mom friend who's 16 year old son wants a third gen. No v-6's, no sticks and no Pontiacs (kid has no sense, what's wrong with my Formula 350?) Kid has plenty of cash for the right car. Seen lots of junk that I won't let him buy so if you've got something within 100 miles of metro Detroit give me a call at 248-698-4798 Thanks - Doug

If i were you...i wouldnt hand a v8 car in general to a 16yr old boy. Id work from a 2.8L RS camaro then a 305, then at like 18yrs old a 350 maybe.

I started with a V8....granted I scared the crap outta myself a few times with it. Its not that bad, as long as its just a 305, Definetely wouldnt trust a F-Body with a 350 to a new driver. Best of luck Finding a car, try looking in the Camaros For Sale section, or the region section specifically for your area.

Re: WTB Iroc/Z-28/RS in Michigan - kids first car

Try this, I found it on craigslist.org. for Detroit Asking $800.00 and has pics.

1988 Camaro, 2.8L V6, 132K miles. Great for long trips and daily driver. Runs good, reliable.

New tires, exhaust (except manifold), starter motor, radiator, spark plugs and wires, heater, power locks, front and rear bucket seats.

I also have brand new Pacesetter headers and motor mounts for this Camaro not yet installed. Comes with a donut wheel plus a full size spare tire.

Few problems: transmission mounting bolt or motor mount is loose. Exhaust manifold is leaking, fix by installing headers. It's a Michigan car, so there's some rust. No major dents or scratches. Drivers seat has a rip, and dash pad is cracked. Ask and I'll send pics.

My brother bought this Camaro last Febuary, and left it with me when he moved to California to serve in the US Marine Corps. He bought another Camaro out there, and I just bought a 98 Camaro. So this one is just sitting around. Great project car or first car.

Call Joe at 810-358-0352 in Imlay City
