What's it worth? May have found one to buy...
Hello and Happy 4th!
I have found a 92 RS, Auto - V8, Red on Red with 36k on it. It is being offered from a dealer. It appears to be immaculate. Small amount of rubbing on the front of the nose. No cracks in the dash.. Original stereo too. That is important to me. May have been repainted. 9.7 out of 10 based solely on external appearance and an untrained eye. They are closed today or I would have test drove it. I can't seem to find anything consistent on pricing. They are asking 13k.
Also found a 87 IROC with 50K that has been built (450 - 500 hp) states it has rebuilt tranny and torque converter and the frame has been reinforced with sub-frame connectors. Blue On Grey!!! It's on ebay... Looks like it will need paint and the AC fixed or replaced.
Any advise anyone can give is greatly appreciated!

Car: 1989 IROC, original 20,000 mile
Engine: L98
Re: What's it worth? May have found one to buy...
that original 92 is a decent deal. I have a 89 iroc 5.7 t-top fully loaded, 24218 mile all original and perfect, and I was turning down 15k, 2 years ago when economy was down. only problem is how well vehicles with low miles were stored and maintained. Because a car whom was just sit could be just as bad as vehicle with high mileage.

I have an 87 IROC G92 5 Speed with a little over 31,000 miles that I'm asking 12K for. 13K for an RS is high in my opinion. People have told me that I am high with my price. I would lowball that dealer if I were you. They have ridiculous mark ups. I would bet they don't have more than 6 grand into that car.
