I'm looking for a body and frame I can use to put a rebuilt engine, some suspension components, stuff like that into. Specifically something in the 85-89s, t-tops, misc other that would compliment a chassis, whatever you don't feel like pulling off?

Do Need:
Body (shell)
Fenders
windshield
rear hatch
k-Member
suspension
rear end
seat belts
steering column
ignition + key
side mirrors
rear view mirror


Don't need:
carpet
center console
dash
cluster
hood
either bumper
side skirts
doors
engine
trans
seats front or back

I'm willing to go quite minimalist, just a shell would get me started, but I've posted this so that maybe a good match can be found. I'm planning on putting an older than 86 350 in it, prolly carbed. So, whatever you guys can come up with or any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

I have a pretty close match for you, located in N.GA. It's an '83-84 SC shell. Clean title, no rust, no dings or dents. It is completely stripped inside, but does have good tilt column with key and an aluminum dash. there is a K-member, but NO suspension front or rear. There is NO wiring in the car either. It has the hatch still on car, fenders and rear bumper currently on it, but NO windshield. I also have perfect doors and sc front bumper off car. No hood. The engine compartment has been smoothed and painted gloss black and looks great. $250 for the shell, fenders, hatch, column/key and k-member. I have boxes of extra parts and the doors, new tank etc, if you need anything else for an additional cost. Can send pics if you are interested.

Wow Cat, sounds like you'd be better off just finding a complete car. But if you're willing to go through all that to put one back into shape I salute you.

Hello fellow Louisvillian!

Our local Pull-a-Part (on National Turnpike) has a few shells in it that would be a decent starting place, at least they did the last time I was in there. You'd have to check their website.
