Re: New pics of my lady!!

Honestly, I love the interior of the car. The only thing I don't like is, I prefer to have the seats themselves look that way instead of throwing a seat cover over the current ones. Steering wheel covers, I hate them... but the overall appearance of the interior, I'm really digging it.

I'd like to do something similar with the interior of my TA, but she's silver and I'm trying to stick to a silver/black color scheme with blue glow, like my CD player glows blue and I would like to have the bulbs behind my gauge cluster blue aswell. Just thinking out load...

Re: New pics of my lady!!

I am a sucker for "less is more." She's a killer looking ride on the outside, but I've never been a big fan of the cheap-o seat covers and what not. Are the seats in bad shape? If not, I would rock it stock. Otherwise, it's a pretty clean car. Looks good

Re: New pics of my lady!!

Thanks everyone for your opinions!!

The seat covers are covering up blue seats out of another third gen, the original seats were in really bad shape so I went to the JY and just got some replacement seats for $20 a pop. So the seat covers are temporary until I find some seats that match the interior.

The steering wheel cover is on there mainly because the stock steering wheels feel really skinny to me so the cover thickens up the wheel for a more comfortable feel.

I don't know, I think I like the painted interior pieces, gives it contrast instead of being all black, and the red is GM81U so it matches the body color. I still have all the original black interior pieces, I picked up extras at the JY so I could switch back if I didn't like the painted look.

My opinion would be To. paint the wheels the same color as the car, not digging the white 2 much, And buy some seat covers from somewhere to get the seats matching the stock interior. Looks good though!

Re: New pics of my lady!!

Good looking car, but the painted trim does give it a bit of Rice flavor. Something I think would look good (been wanting to do it to my own) and would match your shifter nicely, is a billet e-brake handle, and billet door trim. Speaking of, does anyone kow of a place that could make that? I've always wanted to replace the door trim and the upper console trim pieces with billet copies.

Of course, I'm not changing it just cause someone else doesn't like it, if I like it it stays. Just getting some opinions and ideas on other things to do. Thanks!!

That kinda brings up a somewhat funny story, when I bought the car the guy owned a white camaro and the red one I obviously bought, he switched the wheels cause he thought the red ones look good on his car because it had red interior, and he wouldn't switch them back when I asked so I ended up with the white ones.

I am planning on painting them red when I get the time.

I do like that idea of the billet trim pieces. Does anyone know where to get that done?

I am planning on getting some exhaust tips when I get a cat back put on to start with, and then eventually replace the whole exhaust. I don't care much for the cowl hoods but thanks for the suggestion. As far as lowering it, I scrape the bottom of the front lip enough as it is, and I'm allready paranoid when I go to park about hitting the wheel stops, I can't imagine how much it would scrape and how much more paranoid I would be if I lowered it even more, lol.

Wow, that is sweet and the stance looks great. I can see why you like it so much. If i was to lower my car like that I wouldn't have to be worried about being paranoid anymore, the front end would be hanging off a bumper stop or curb somewhere, lol.
