Anyone on here or know the guy with a red TA/Firebird that lives in the NW? Its got gold rims, possibly tint in the back *coudlnt tell cause of the rain* and was parked at the PetroCanada by Northland this afternoon around 1? Sweet looking ride.
er, the louvers? I always had mixed feelings on those. When I was a kid my neighbor had an 85-90 TA that was totally badass, with louvers, but another guy down the street had a thirdgen z28 without em and it looked just as good..
hm, come to think of it, it's no suprise I got a thirdgen myself..

While were here, WHO WANTS SOME RIMS, CHEEEAAAPP berlinetts rims
edit: james Y, why dont you just drop a v8 in ?? like me
Because I have yet to find an accurate source of information on doing a v8, all there is, is tidbits and tidbits, I also have no tools at home but I have an engine hoist, figures. All my tools are at work which makes swapping engines interesting. Plus I plan on getting a Cutlass like my buddy had and swapping the 305 out for something a "little" bit better.
ooooo this could be interesting.... let me know what you guys think.
I found a guy looking to build up a profile of multimedia and graphic and web design stuff he has built so that companys can look at what he has done and consider hiring him, I asked him if he would build us a sweet looking GEN-3 site or do some graphics or decals or something, he said sure I just have to let him know what everyoen wants it to look like and pitch thier ideas.
Basically he uses it for his portfolio down the road and we get a nice lookin website out of the deal.
YAY I think if it were to happen, it should be all about me and my so kick *** car....HA! yea right.... But yeah you should talk to "No Saint" from the f body boards cause he has a gen 3 calgary site thats never updated lol

Dunno but I am going tomorrow and getting him to just fix it for me so hopefully by Friday it will be mobile, I need to cruise too
GF just about left me, luckly my smart *** decided to call her and see if we broke up or just a breather, and its a breather so I'm a little better but still need to go hitup Highway 2 (I refuse to call it the Queen Elizabith) around 2am or so, releave soem stress.
Ok, sorry to bring it to you guys, Ive decided on the following.
Buy this 85 Regal
Sell the Camaro
Have somethign that runs and fast
I will still come cruise with u guys if u want, at the end of the pack haunting your asses but I wont be owning one, unless I dont buy this for some reason.
Mayeb I will look into a cheap v6 Camaro for a winter car as this isnt winterable. Then I can still be considered a part owner
Well 3.73s in rear, untuned carb, head upgrades and a few more things = unfreindly witner driver, especially since it would be my first winter in a car I owned with more then 100hp :P
I guess i'll post in this thread, since i'm from Calgary, and that's the point of this thread (well, was...)
I'm in the Dalhousie area, stones throw from the station. My car is on blocks now, as i'm restoring it this winter. Suspension first. (now)...
I'm a mechanical engineering intern, taking a year off for an internship. Then going back to UofC for 4th year. oh yea, I like long walks on the beach, and blondes
oh yea, Ryan, i'm coming down to piss in your gas tank, 'cuz I know where you work!!! while you're working i'll be the guy stumbling around looking for a white TA... (i'll have filled up on straight Rye or something, so it'll be mostly alcohol... for performance of course... i'm a nice guy after all!)

You said you weren't going to tell anyone where you worked, you didn't want anyone knowing where you parked your car... You also wouldn't tell me which QUADRANT you lived in! And boy, if I knew what quadrant you were in before, I would found your TA in a heartbeat! (of course there'd only be come 3rd gen in south calgary.... with forest lawn and all....LOL)
Anyway, that's why I was impressed that I knew where you worked, to leak in your gas tank... but again, my plans are foiled...
hmm, too bad i'm restoring my TA, it'd be kinda dismal to show up to a 3rd gen meet in a '92 Grand Prix... (hey check it out fellas, a DOHC V-6! whoohoo!)
Anyone got a camaro roller for sale in alberta preferably close to red deer. anything under $2000. doesnt have to have bumpers GFX, hood, engine, transmission, would like a 5 spd but auto is fine.

Sure do.
86 Camaro 2.8L *bottom end ****ed, good for v8 swap which is what you are probaly doing arent u*, near perfect interior, you get everything with it, although it is a v6 tranny not 8 so you would have to change that which would give u manual or auto. I can also hookup a deal with a 4 speed manual, actually 4 of them for a couple bills if your interested.
Let me know, 6197995, oh yah, lookin for $900 w/ all the new v6 igniton and such, $600 without.
Oh by the way if its not a Z28 then im definatly not intrested..ive owned 2 berlinettas and both of them were peices of sh*t. plus i need something i can bolt GFX up to.
Well this is just a thread, that is long.. We could start a new thread....
I was going to, showing the progress on my rebuild, I know 305qta was interested...

For a second I thought you were talking about your 83 and I was really confused. Heh.
I wish I could get another thirdgen. Being a college student with no money means I get to watch the TA get a little more run down each day. Time for a resto...
I live on an acreage east of Red Deer( near Alix). I just bought an 88 convertible. Currently putting subframe connectors. I can't wait to hit the road with the top down. I am thinking about joining the calgary camaro club. Or maybe the cruisers club of red deer.
