i have a set of Hooker Shorty style ceramic coated headers for the 82-92 sbc with 1-5/8" tubes and 3" collector. to go with that i have an alumanized Y-pipe that bolts directly into the stock location and comes with all the gaskets and hardware. for a cat-back, i have a 3" flowmaster system designed to bolt into the stock loacation, mandrel bent tubing and all the brackets and hardware you need...including some sweet lookin polished stainless tips. the muffler that came with it is a super 80, it will give you an excellent thump goin down the road.
never installed on the car, taken out of box to look at and put back in.
live in victoria, prefer van-isle or vancouver but will ship anywhere. asking $1000CDN not including shipping.

im selling because i recently decided to switch to a 383 TPI, and my shortys are not gonna be enough, i need the long tubes. but i never installed the parts, just took them out of the box to look at them.
i do not have any pics off hand...but if you go to flowmasters website, they will have pics of the kits they have, same with the headers.
Sweet bro, I'm so busy these days with buying a house and all that garbage. If I ever get some time to myself I'll see if I can take a run up there and look at em.
hehe Nah I'm out here in Ontario, that picture was taken in Saskatchewan so good call on the Corner Gas reference hehe!
The wife and I (back then she was just my girlfriend hehe!) drove across Canada in her in '97. Was very hard not to open it up in the plains hehe! We loved BC, especially the island. We stayed in Nanaimo and drove from south to north, walked many a path to the west side on the way as well. Just west of the Alberta border our fuel pump got tired and quit on us, uphill, in a covered tunnel, on a curve. I had to roll it back out to safety narrowly missing a logging truck cause when it quit I couldn't get over far enough and I was a bit crooked. Talk about scary moments... A little chinese guy was great once we got to BC. Found the problem and changed it at cost, and this was a Canadian Tire, since we were so far from home. No labour. I love telling that story, especially when his accent made it sound like he was saying "Foo Pum!"
Are Y-Pipes really hard to come by when doing a custom exhaust?
awesome story fyrstorm, id like to take a drive to alberta with my gal, but my car has broken down a couple of times and i dont think she would trust it. after im done my 10 year resto, im sure she will change her mind tho
and ya Y-pipes are difficult to come buy if your doing a true dual exhaust on these camaros. other cars dont even have the pre-fabbed Y-pipe option. this kit offers the stock setup, with good parts, good flow all at a low price that you can do yourself, no welder needed.

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
Those headers are nice and pretty, sooo shiney.
Don't worry about shipping, just go Greyhound, it's got to be close to the cheapest, and it is reasonable.
