Nope dosent matter to me what color it is.....Nothing wrong with a diamond in the rough
as it sits 305 is coming out, heads off 305 are going to driver101 (edelbrock centerbolts) then in goes vortec headed 355 tpi
(its getting pulled from winter hibernation in this pic) i know, i should be shot for letting it see snow, but i dont have a garage!
i work for mopac, i speak from experience that most(apart from the few) of the people i sell parts to for these cars are inbred hillbillys, ex a customer of mine bought a golen 383 shortblock, bought some nice dart heads, and then proceeds to put a completely stock TPI setup on top of it, talk about a bottle neck. I need just a few more small things then i can put my car together. i see no problems with having my 91 done for may 31, if not, il drive one of driver101 cars down there haha

Those are the ones Calgary kicks out....Mikes on the short list
Im positive I wont be working by then so work isnt going to keep me from being there. Im not sure on the details for the show n shine.....Mike will have to let us know. Im still trying to decide what car Im going to bring.
There's a thread above in the sticky section for Edmonton members, it would give you a better idea of who's around in that area. There's also a Calgary sticky too.

I'm still crying over seeing that picture! I'm lucky enough that I just keep mine in the garage beside the winter beater. Then when summer rolls around I put the winter beater outside so the Camaro can have the whole garage.
I'm not sure when I'll get mine out this year, the city says the streets won't be finished being swept until June.
Still undecided as of yet Jarred. If there is a cruise after the show I will probably bring the GTA as the TTA isnt registered. You gonna make this one this time?
Is this show open to Camaro's as well as Firebirds? I live in Calgary and just finished my 91 Z28 Convertible, and live very close to the Deerfoot Inn and Casino. Would love to take it out that day.

yes, to all cars.
The almost as good looking sister, the Camaro, is very welcomed to attend. We should have quite a few of those at the show.
Just a heads up for any locals looking to get some tuning / engine work done on your cars/trucks. Exercise EXTREME caution or completely avoid dealing with
Martin Gausvik @ AFI Performance in Edmonton.
Martin promised me 800 WHP in my Escalade. I gave him a cheque for $20,000 and my Suburban. He was to order a 3.3L Whipple supercharger, an FLT Stage 5 4L80E, all parts required to stroke the trucks 6.2L to 418 cubic inches. Wheels, Tires, Suspension. etc. All this work was to be completed by September 2008.
What do I have to show for our plans? A beat up suburban, which he returned after driving it for 6 months and a $20,000 lighter bank account. He ordered NONE of the parts and when I asked for my money back he says, "I might take me a little while to come up with that kind of money".
ive got mine 90% done and running, drove it home tonight, but would rather have any potential issues/bugs happen close to home rather than 3-4 hours away, since the engine is fresh. hopefully make it there next year
