monsoon system sucks. Not worth the trouble of installing it at all.

Better off with a new deck, some 4x6's or 6 1/2" coaxes in kicks, and nice 6x9's.

well i use to own a 97ws6 trans am and the monsson system in it soundede like crap if it was put too loud. it sounded real good when it was stil new though. my buddy has a 96 SS with the bose stereo in it and it blew mine away. i dont know why GM went from Bose to monsoon. you guys think the kick panels are a better place for front speakers huh. i have some new 6 1/2 kenwood ecelons(sp?) are these the size of the kick panel holes

i find that so weird. my dad has a 96 cavelier loaded and the sytems pounds.i dont know what he has in it but it is completely stock and the bass shakes the windows pretty damn good. i can barely see out the mirrors. the only problem i find with them is that if u turn it way up the sound and bass suck but at a medium almost low tone the thing absolutely pounds. i dont know if he got lucky and they put in the wrong system or what cuz it was custom order to what he wanted but he told me he didnt order a better stereo just one with cd player. kinda got me stumped
