Sub Help

I'm currently running the stock speakers in my '92 bird off the head unit out of a '94 firebird. I got a free plate with 2 12" pyles thats prob about 10 years old (I know plates suck but it was free) I also got a free Isographite series Majestic MA 695 500 Watt amp. I'm trying to figure out how to wire it up since the head unit doesn't have RCA pre outs but the amp has high level input I could use. I was thinking about running both the 4x6's and 6x9's off the inputs for the 4x6's either in series or through a cross over and the amp off the lines for the 6x9's or just leaving the 4x6's alone and running the 6x9's lines right to the amp and not using the 6x9's at all.

And words of wisdom?

Thanks,
R

why not just splice the wires from the 6X9s?

I got a jensen line level adapter, a rockford amp install kit, and 2 metra wireing harnesses. I'm going to use the harnesses back to back like an extension for the stock harness but splice the adapter into the lines for the 6x9's and the power antenna line to the amp. Then I can just run the RCA cables from the jensen adapter to the amp and keep the stock speakers working like stock.
