amp ground

where should i ground my amp to make it work properly where i have it ground i hear motor noise. i want to get it fixed so it is workin properly. so ne good suggestions.

where is your amp located? I have my amps on an amp rack that on top of the gas tank, they are grounded in the spare tire well. Make sure to take sand paper and clean off the surface to be grounded on for the best contact.

I've got my amp in the back well area and I ran my ground wire to the top support for the rear seatbelts. Just loosened up the bolt, crimped on a butt connector and snipped the tip off so it would go around the bolt and tightened it back down. Haven't had any problems with noise at all.

i have mine connected in the spare tire well and i get a motor noise. when i hit the gas it gets louder and i can only hear it when the music is turned all the way down but i will try the seat belt and c how that works
