Anyone relocate their antenna to the defogger?

I think the new Caddy's have their antenna's embedded into the rear window defoggers, i was just wondering if this would be done on a thirdgen? I'm looking for possible locations for my antenna if I were to shave it.

There is more involved in the rear window antenna. there is a transponder/ receiver/ booster box located in the front fenders of the cars as well as other wiring and electronics. You can probably find a system at a yard.
